Still un-answered questions:

2. How do you calculate the network capacity in Terabyte?

network capacity in PB is ~ 19215358/basetarget.
I don't find the original posting - I just took a note, but forgot to write down wether it's PB or PiB..oops.

Anyway, the trend is clear: We're losing network capacity and/or miners.
bitladen has, for the first time, dug some 100 coins during the last 24 hours, equal to >27% of the network.
Looking at the last month he has some 1.85 - 2.2 PB online, and may be growing again.
Obviously some company has dysfunctional controlling and a few idling Petabytes - Bluffdale ?

I feel much better now. I read the history messages from some people and see that they use the same language on other places as well.
I thought it is just against me, but it is his attitude.

Great forum software to have this ability.

Ignored again. You just can stay normal, Elmit. Seek some help for your own sake. I know that you do not understand it, but you are decreasing the quality of this thread way too much.

Please: new, self-modded thread to get rid of all the nonsense.

I don't know what let you write that. Some people DO (ignore) and some people just SAY, that is the difference.
Some people ARE professionals (scientists, doctors) and some people SAY they are.
Some people DO contribute, and some people DEMAND others should do.

Get your mind straight. The price of BURST is at the bottom, although BURST has great features, like AT. Why not use your wisdom and power to promote it? Instead you and Co. use their time to attack me. I defend myself. Don't give me reasons to respond!

Drink some coffee and since you have anyway no daytime job, read the entire thread again, and CONTRIBUTE - Today!

Still un-answered questions:

1. How do you cancel an asset?

2. How do you calculate the network capacity in Terabyte?

3. What are the current PR projects, where we can help?

No offense, but who should moderate it? This is a open community project ...
(Maybe my definition of nonsence is another than yours?!)
Maybe some users could reconsider, if this thread is the right place for their personal disputes.

Some threads need to be self-moderated because they tend to drag certain characters in who wont understand that it is an open community project where 100s of people will read what they write.

With freedom comes responsibility.

Don't get me wrong. As this an open community project, nothing will and should of course stop them from contribute, whether in a main modded thread if the content is relevant, or in their own started thread where all nonsense is allowed. "Elmit's view on BURST"-thread can not and should not be stopped, but as he has some kind of disorder the devs shouldn't let him treat page after page as his personal blog.

The posting of nonsense and unneeded agitation is exactly what happened to xmr, which nearly died of all the irrelevant posts before they did this suggested change.

BURST got Smart Contracts (AT)

*side note - I'm thinking of cancelling the bank asset, I don't have as much trading money as I used to, and I don't have the time to focus on trading right now. I will keep everyone updated as far as what my decision is, but as of right now I'm pretty sure I'm going to cancel it.*

*another side note - I have something up for discussion right now in the core team, that if approved, will mean some big changes for BURST. I hope to post this soon. Smiley*

How do you "cancel an asset"?

Is "core team" the definition of the absent "developer (team)"?

Elmit, actually use the information "active miners", instead of "Registered Miners"

@SuchBurst (burstcoin.biz)  please add luxe's Jminer (https://burstforum.com/index.php?threads/ann-burstcoin-jminer-gpu-assisted-poc-miner.842) to http://burstcoin.biz/downloads

There is no defined term "active miners", burstcoin used to calculate the last 24 hours. I have not found a fast way to calculate that.
I tend to use a temporary table of the last 24 hours of ALL transactions, and sum up for each pool the payments (amount, transaction to each miner)

I was mining with 2.3TB of plots for a week now. Today the pool stats show I have only .7 TB. Do the plot files get old.

Should I delete them then and create new fresh ones?

The pool guesses how much storage you have based on your deadlines. It's not very accurate
it will go up and down according to your deadlines.

If there are sandbaggers on the pool getting 38-52% of the share then I don't have much deadlines so it would make sense. Could really use all of the 2.3 TB since I need to compete with those sandbaggers, before them was averaging 300 a day. Now maybe 5 a day

or what if my GPU Javaminer 3.6 wasn't working in that my gpu is tired?

Just saw the sandbaggers left so I picked up 8 burst, so thats the issue

I don't know what you mean by sandbaggers, and the number that is calculated is a rough estimate, as noted above, it will change based on how 'lucky' your miner is. There is no way to tell the exact amount of space unless you're using blago's miner. So if you want an accurate size, use blago's miner and you won't have any confusion.

Either way all that matters is your actual plot size, and how many good deadlines you submit, just because the pool is saying the size is changing, obviously your plots aren't magically getting bigger and smaller on your drive. There's nothing to worry about.

Why is everyone here still arguing about nonsense...

BTW - ByteEnt payouts should be accomplished soon... tiga will run them when he gets a chance.

Also, you can always watch the blockchain for the movement of the funds to the ByteEnt wallet, I always put a message from each account that I move the funds from, saying what the movement is, and that it is for the ByteEnt payout of (whatever month). The BURSTCITY miner has about 25TB mining for ByteEnt, and the rest comes from 100% of ninja's pool fee.

I do have to thank all the Burst people for helping me get configured and  mine burst.

I'm able to use Blago or Jminer of which the way my system is configured it prefers Jminer.

The new software helped a lot so thanks everyone.
