Just researched Decred. I am very impressed. Devs are partisans and this is true blockchain DAO. When these guys start marketing it will be fantastic grow. Would be nice to change black colors on forums to lighter to make it more trust when seeing it for first time. 2017 DCR will hit hard Wink GL with completing roadmap and make people know about decred. Devs are true geek gangstas.

so you sold for peanuts something like 5640 DCR that staked until today could be 25k DCR ?  Shocked

Ignore the FUD and let time speak for itself.

No system is perfect ! The dev team did the best they could at the time to weed out the scammers.

Yet the way they described the process discouraged some people (like me) from applying at all.

Wasn't it supposed to be the case that you only got some free coins if you had a skillset that would benefit the coin development directly or indirectly?

Turns out anyone who applied would get, even with multiple accounts

^devs scammed us out of our "airdrop" ~ go crawl into a dark place.. D:

I, for one, wasn't scammed. At the beginning of this venture, I raised alarms about how folks could easily game the system in participating by earning several airdrops, the example I used depicted ten airdrops. My concerns were met by devs stating that there were defense mechanisms in place so to curtail such practices. That wasn't good enough for me, so I created 20 users accounts and successfully game the system with all 20 of them, received my airdrops, then quickly sold them off, making about five grand - five grand from something that was impossible to accomplish, and sold to some users on this thread who had the red-ass for me at the time. Pretty fuckin amazin', eh?

Since then, I've stayed cleared of this thread, mostly because it doesn't seem like a major nefarious entity, albeit I profited from it the same ways others and perhaps Decred, itself, made bank.

That said, if you like airdrops it just so happens that I'm conducting one myself to the tune of dropping U$1M of my CPL token. Take a look -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/nn-yutubopolis-u10m-proof-of-burn-largest-pb-in-crypto-history-1900371 I'll even pay users acting as an oversight committee of sorts in making sure that everything surrounding the airdrop et al. is above board.

instead to grow up with 1.0 release the price is very low  Huh

2 months ago the price was at 0.4 USD. Today it is 15 USD. You want the price go up to infinity? LOL

BTC began moving up after some pause. So it`s time for alts to go down.

Given how violent some alts have been in terms of volume and movement, I really wouldn't look at them the same way you used to.

Bitcoin has been steady for a while and many alts are still pushing. Things have changed.

Yes, all of them are rallying on tremendous volume stemming from one place, poloniex. It's a no brainer for me that it's not adoption or rapid boost in acceptance that is pushing the value. Decred might or might nor follow this tendency, but I'm glad to see the progress being made and read up on the voting consensus update that is coming out. From a technical perspective decred is stronger than ever before.

Is there any good news from Dev ?  I'm waiting for some new actions from Dev .

Dev should have more new plans to stimulate investors to join this coin.

They are working hard on their roadmap, and just updated the wallet. Check out their roadmap here: https://blog.decred.org/2017/01/09/2017-Decred-Roadmap/

Thank you for your notice . I will read this roadmap and Still wait for new actions from Dev.
