serious question: what is the most important feature of decred ? and by that I mean 10 years from now will it survive ? (don't have decred but analyzing the space constant for the right moment to get in if to get in..)

In those manifests are the criticisms of them to what bitcoin has become and why they abandoned the development of BTC and decided to create DCR.
The proposal is a "bitcoin adaptable to innovations", capable of absorbing all the great ideas of others and without a centered governance in a small group and personal interests.
If you follow the official forum will see that besides many other things, is developing a new language to be used in smart contracts on decred's blockchain. https://forum.decred.org/
The currency is still an embryo, it is being written from scratch, in GO, a different language from the other coins.
Soon the choice of features to be implemented will be made in a decentralized manner through voting in blockchain.
All development is decentralized and who contributes is paid for his work with a fund generated by blocks mined.

owww.. guys guys.. "The premine consists of 8% of the total supply of 21 million coins" ... but in terms of execution this coin is so very very good, including ie block explorer (top of the line) spec and all.. won't predict here or make a speculation (everyone does their own homework) plus is not fair to anyone, in any case keep at it, knowing what any crypto will do in 10 years from now was also an unfair question no one knows that!
