How many coins, from POS, I can reciece  with 1000 coins?

It depends on the amount you paid for the ticket
Last week I bought 63 tickets with 1000 DCR.
63 X 1.8 (ticket reward) = 113.4

DCRstats.com shows current ticket price (difficulty) as well as current block rewards, etc.

At current ticket price of 17.4 DCR and voting reward of 1.7809 per ticket, you would currently earn on average 10.24% compounding return on your DCR funds every 28 days (approximately).  With 1000 DCR, you could purchase 57.5 tickets and earn 102.40 DCR in roughly 28 days.  Note, like PoW mining there is variance, some tickets might be chosen to vote in an hour, some in 3 months.  The more tickets you have, the less variance you'll see.

I am also interested in this. What's the daily/weekly/monthly POS payout per say 1000 DCR?

i have done a simple math in the past about this, and it was 0.03 btc per day with 1k decred staking, however this was when decred was at 0.005 btc

and now with POS pools diff will be higher.

So any educated guesses for current? Considering buying some and staking.

From what I understand, it's quite a bit different that regular POS systems.

"Staking in Decred works in a similar way to a lottery, you purchase tickets with the available DCR coins you have or the amount you want to use. Ticket price started at 2 DCR and it changes based on users staking, though it is currently pretty high priced at about 14 DCR, so you might want to carefully choose the timing when to purchase tickets. Then you need wait for your ticket to be randomly chosen to validate a block or to be taken out of the lottery in 142 days if you do not win anything. The coins you use for staking (purchasing tickets for the lottery) will be locked until they are either chosen and you get your staking reward or 142 days pass . According to the information available the lottery lasts about 28 days average and the chance of a ticket not being selected in 142 days are less than 1%, but since it is all luck based your results may vary."

Sure,
but even based purely on luck there is obviously a median and mid sum and %

I created a bitstream for the ZTEX 1.15y board and want to share it with the decred community.  If you have a ZTEX 1.15y board, you should be able to mine DCR using this modified cgminer and bitstream.

I have put the bitstream at the following link.  It gets about 800Mh/s.

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/j1d12ixhfthj0y7/ztex_ufm1_15y1.bit?dl=0

The cgminer is located at the following link:

    https://github.com/sprocket-fpga/cgminer_3.7.2_ztex

Below are the steps I used to modify Decred cgminer 0.0.5 to run on my Raspberry Pi.

    1) sudo apt-get update
    2) sudo apt-get install libusb-1.0-0-dev libusb-1.0-0 libcurl4-openssl-dev libncurses5-dev libudev-dev screen libtool automake pkg-config libjansson-dev
    3) git clone https://github.com/decred/cgminer
    4) cd cgminer
    5) sudo ./autogen.sh
    6) sudo ./configure --disable-adl --enable-icarus
    7) copy .c and .h files to cgminer directory
    8 ) copy .bit to cgminer\bitstreams
    9) sudo make
    10) Command Line: cgminer --disable-gpu --blake256 -o < url:port > -u < username > -p < password > --ztex-clock 100:100

Note: This miner only works on Getwork pools. It does not have the Stratum logic incorporated yet.

Open Issue: This miner seems to work fine for up to 4 ztex boards. More than 4 boards is causing the cgminer to crash after 10 minutes.  If you have any ideas how to fix this issue, please PM me.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you find this miner useful, please feel free to leave a tip:

@sprocket_fpga - thank you for this bitstream and guide.  I recently acquired (20) ztex clones and have ( 8 ) of the (20) running on your bitstream with great success.  I am waiting on fans and hubs to get the other (12) up and running.  I sent you a little of my DCR change as a thank you.  Most appreciated.

can you tell me exactly and with very basic  instructions that how i can get my airdrop coins out ?

i tried a few things :

first i downloaded latest version of program from github ( May ) , i did all instructions with this program .

but when i was importing my wallet by 33 seed words it was just waiting nothing done .

so i tried all steps again with old version ( february )

i created my wallet and imported from 33 seed words .

but there was an error at last 3rd cmd window , that said client is never connected , after i checked 2nd window i saw there same error .

after that i opened last version again and i tried to reach my wallet there .

but cant do that .

now i have wallet created with these information :

user name - password - private passphrase and public passphrase

so from here what i have to do to reach my coins and send them to poloniex for selling ?

Two new mainnet stake pools are now online! Check out stakepool.eu and dcr.stakepool.net. You can also look at their dedicated threads on the forum (stakepool.eu and dcr.stakepool.net). OP text has been updated with links to these stake pools.
Thanks for updating!

The homepage seems very weak, any updates planing?

Fully agree,  every BCT OP should have a strong First Post.

You guys really need to get a good designer on the job, i, like many will not touch this coin due to the "lame" looking OP.
You cant be taken serious with such half assed work like that.

Looks like a good clean resume instead of a noob scam  Undecided

I concur. The other extreme option is Leroy Fodor's StakeMiners' OP, littered with grammatical errors, lies, hyperbole and retro flashing HTML that'd make even Alan Turing exclaim, "WTF!"
