Looking good, only two nonbelievers for today.  Grin

Well for now, all the crash and burn nay sayers should read and weep the above stats which are unequivocal

all these guys are holding for reasons only known to them, a continued slow release is healthy for the future

It seems the airdrop has gone quite the opposite that i was expecting it to. I really was thinking that the sales will be a lot higher and the claim rate would be over 80+ at least for now but seems i was very wrong. As for why they haven't claimed yet, maybe they are really interested in the long run. Pretty sure many are also just waiting for a proper GUI wallet so that they could start staking as the other options really just suck.

Amazing!

Yeah  Grin

Get 840,000 decred, promise to keep them a year or two for the greater good.

But anonymous F _ingsoc will USE the 840,000 decred she wont sell to stake "at least half" of all PoS rewards, actually much more, thats at least 450,000 "free" decred this year, and the year after, when the PoS returns are highest.

In 2 years, anonymous F _ingsoc will have MORE PoS than the origional 840,000 anyway. For "free". selling as she goes.
Then they can dump the 840,000.

anonymous F _ingsoc doesn't point out that part. Is that in the constitution?

no one, except me, even notices? Now that's amazing.

DCR will reach even 0.1 BTC - buy and hold guys!

I would think many holders would give into the temptation to dump long before it reaches this lofty height.

I like the dev teams commitment to this project. So many scams out there, this is a nice solid coin with honest devs.  Smiley

I've held their asses to the fire a tad to a couple minor(?) issues, and as a whole (with ever-so-slight reservations) they seem to pass the smell test. I duly hope they're honorable, for I look forward to incorporating Decred somewhat in a project I'm working on that's soon to be released, with further hopes of working with the team in general (since they work for free  Grin Grin Grin). Regardless, I'll be accepting DCR as long as it's viable.

This post is an endorsement of sorts and NOT meant as satire.

Peace.

There isn't any question that the links in the OP give a credibility of sorts to the project. From your previous post that may have been an influence.

There isn't much question that they are "honorable" by the standards of conventional economic practice. An unmoderated thread, by itself, gives a lot of credibility, or honorability or whatever.

My opinion, worthless though it may be, is that the premine and the drivelly horseshit justifying it are too "old economy" for crypto. They show the colors of the dev team etc.

They are honorable, well educated, bright, respected, etc, but the coin will fail because they are ignoring the cutting edge motive of crypto.

I won't win this argument on this thread, but any coin with a built in reward for its developers and sponsors will not succeed long term. It can  be propped up, hyped, polished, blow dried, painted whatever you like but old school shit like that fails. A tie will get you some places but to get out you need a brain too.

DASH and ETH seem healthy. One pays to its devs and apparently instamined the other mostly premined and funded very very well. Maybe I'm a total dick but I wouldn't work a single hour for free for the benefit of an "ideal" knowing that someone else would benefit financially from it unless I had a share on it - I too got to eat. Why would they invest several months worth of man-hours? It doesn't make sense to me....... Maybe I've been burned too much around here that when someone comes around and present themselves as they have with the proper credentials and code to back them up I lower my skepticism to a dangerous level..............

I can't imagine holding any coin for a whole year, (except BTC) My weak hands will probably let go of the few coins that I have long before then. So, let them dump away a year or two from now. Cheesy

that's why noone cares dude, same old. people are so greedy that they dont even care if a coin is shady and destorys the community "as long as they can make money let them dump in a year or two"

How long will it take before Decred annual inflation is <10%?

Nearly everything about it, makes it an improvement over and viable alternative to Bitcoin.

However if Decred has high inflation it will be unable to sustain a high valuation without much more new demand than BTC requires and therefore could not realistically compete in the short to medium term.

I believe them and will act accordingly, took that risk already in the past few days anyway - plus my airdrop.

If DCR has the feature implemented, CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY would seal the deal, practically unfuddable from that angle.

I'll say it again though, everything points to them being honorable people and already added to my airdrop in days prior to their announcement today.
