My understanding of Decred's community governance model is that the devs will work on the upgrades to the code, e.g. integrate the Lightnight Network, privacy features, etc., and include them into the Decred code as a dormant feature. Once they are included, then the community votes on them. Is this like putting the cart before the horse? Why spend precious time and effort on upgrades to the code if the community does not want and approve them?
There was a vote on the start of Lightning integration. I think 98 % of votes said yes.

Decred will become and emerge as the "perfect coin". The decentralized, secure, self governing, anonymous cryptocurrency.
But beware of ASICs. There was a post in this thread that there was an ASIC being developed for Decred, is this still true?

2 years passed away,I am amazing about the Decred's growing!
There are many fans of the Decred in Chinese and I see more and
more guys join in the community!
I am so regretful about that I have not growing with Decred.

What dip? The decred price is actually holding on quite well given the rising bitcoin dominance and the stable total market cap. The top coins are bleeding.
I am looking at DCR/BTC, not DCR/USD. Decred is in a dip from its highs, and it is now hovering on .00071 and near it. Please refer to the chart.
I believe that's a good opportunity to pick up more coins. Hehehe.
