Hi!

My deposit of 82 Decred to Poloniex was not credited in over 48 hours, and no reply to my support ticket.
Anybody else here having the same problem?

on POLO you can observe it:
"DCR is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the DCR team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling."
I would postpone deposits for stock exchanges for later

What do you guys think of buying DECRED now, is the price too high, should I wait for a bigger dip? Since it has been going down a lot

Decred is a sleeping giant, has been since the start. I like the underground vibe of it, you don't hear a lot of people about it actually...

Speaking from my soul! Liquidity might be a small problem right now, but Decred has just so much promise. So so much!

Where can I see the road map for 2018? The site is available only for 2017 Huh I saw in third-party sources that in February and March will appear, is this correct information? Thanks in advance for the answer

Yes, I read they will publish it a few months into 2018. They've done everything so far with such professionalism and direction that I am not to concerned. I know how hard they are working and how mind blowing smart they are.

This is actually for everyone here, this is an interview with GOD Marco Peereboom (lol) and Decred Jesus at TNABC (2018). They explain why they didn't release the roadmap yet, plus Marco explain why 2018 is gonna be the year of governance the year of Decred.

Everyone that got a little time to spend, please have a look and know where you're putting your money (good hands lol).

After seeing the video I feel like I should double my Decred position, they are such a solid non-greedy team with lots of integrity.

Was there a discussion about some Decred developers supporting the creation of Asic miners for DCR a few months ago? I believe it might go back and bite them gathering from what I am seeing in Siacoin.

Bitmain is already trying to force its way into Siacoin mining to the detriment of their project, and its community.

I think it's just amazing that someone is creating a crypto-currency that EVERYONE has a say and vote that matter's for the future of the project. It give's power to the people

Not quite everyone, only people that actually hold DCR.

When you consider btc, there are 'voices' in their conversations that have no personal stake (ie coin holdings). That is a part of what drew me to DCR...in essense... coins = votes. No bad actor influence, no miners vs holders, no users vs devs. All holders are equal (on a per coin basis).

Look Morty magic internet money
Decred stays strong in stormy weather. Good project!

Agreed, we simply shrugged off the entire btc slump & slide or recent weeks. I love the upward trajectory over the last month and a half. And as I post, blockfolio just notified me that we passed the 0.01 btc mark ... WHOOOHOO Smiley

This is a winner folx. Hold on for the long ride.

Looking at tradingview I dont see it crossing the 0.01 mark bittrex or polo.

I think decred is a great project and I supported it the moment I learned about it recommended it to everyone who wanted to step into crypto. The only thing with decred is the trading volume. Its so low an average. Also with no possibilities to open new accounts on bittrex decred has little options for new audience. Holding a large position in decred is a big risk now that bitcoin and the whole market is looking weak. There is just no way to sell you coins if you want to. Fundamentals, devs, vision etc are most important but without good liquidity people with more to spend will never feel comfortable holding this coin since they cant get out if they want to. Not here to hate on DCR its one of my biggest bags but I do think this is a growing problem considering we have one of the lowest volumes of the top 200 especially top 100. This Should not be the case if you look at our ranking and fundamentals of decred and im hoping the liquidity issue is being thought of in the future.

10 % of coinbase from each block goes to DAO fund. That is where contractors get paid from.

Excuse my ignorance but in the proposal system do people get paid as an agreed allocation from the creation of decred's like POS and POW do? or is it just dished out by the creator's from an old wallet?

do you know where the devs are communicating (telegram, btt, ...)

It's easier to talk to them in   slack. If you want  tell me your email I sent you an invitation.
