I am thrilled that DGC is coming back where it once was.

I can confirm that I was able to restore my paperwallet with the current wallet version easily under macOS High Sierra. I used this release: https://github.com/lomtax/digitalcoin/releases/tag/4.0.1

Also the trading seems to work again and today we have nearly the same price as the TRONix [TRX] coin. :-) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digitalcoin/

Hey,

The efficiency is really good and the network is super smooth because one of the algorithms is always going to find a block. I am mining it myself and plan to get more miners.

DGC has had really good transaction volume lately (millions) and it's helping to contribute to the miners.

So far the orphan rates are much lower than even I expected. The transactions seem to be almost instantaneous, as well as block confirmations. There's a good number of trades and sending already which is good. Two pools reported 99%+ efficiency already.

Guys i need your help with the new wallet version. When it tries to synq im getting the following error message.

System error: CDB: error -30974 cant open database wallet.dat.

Did a fresh install of Xubuntu 16.04 but again the build failed.
It had to do with the cmath and math.h libraries it was an easy fix and is now also on Github.

So both the QT client and headless daemon can be build on 16.04.
Just follow the install instructions on the Digitalcoin Forum :-)

DGC Dutch translation:

Opgericht in 2013, DigitalCoin is een bewezen methode om waardes over te brengen met een transactie bevestiging in minder dan een minuut.

Met Scrypt, Sha256 en X11 algoritmes beschikbaar voor mining kan elke vorm van hardware de transacties helpen verwerken.

Netwerk Parameters

* Algoritmes- Blokken worden gehashed/versleuteld met gebruik van Scrypt, x11 en SHA256 algoritmes.
* Bevestigingen - Elke transactie bevestiging wordt gemiddeld in 40 seconden uitgevoerd.
* Difficulty/moeilijkheidsgraad - Worden na elk gevonden blok opnieuw vastgesteld
* Mining beloningen - 5 DGC per gevonden blok. Beloningen worden elke 3 jaar gehalveerd.

Maximum aantal munten - De totale voorraad van DigitalCoin zal uitkomen op ongeveer 48.166.000.

Netwerk verbeteringen
* Algoritme controle - Als de laatste blokken 3 blokken worden gevonden door hetzelfde algoritme zal het volgende/4e blok worden geweigerd totdat deze wordt gevonden door een van de andere twee algortimes.
Dit voorkomt direkte aanvallen op het netwerk van ieder enkelvoudig algoritme.

Hey There,

Maybe in the future another algorithm will be a bigger benefit and replace a current one. The network is very healthy with these three currently.
