A lot of people are currently jumping in, when downloading and running the Einsteinium wallet for the first time it will refuse to sync with "no peers available" or "no block source available". The reason for this is simply that the wallet is looking for an outdated DNS Seed on initial connect, this is hard coded and is currently being fixed.

For the meanwhile here are some instructions to get peers connected quickly:

- download an always up-to-date file called peers.dat from https://pool.emc2.foundation/peers.dat
- shut down Einsteinium-QT
- find and replace the local peers.dat file on your system:

Windows:	C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Einsteinium
Linux:	/home//.einsteinium/
Mac OSX:	/Users//Library/Application Support/Einsteinium

- fire up your wallet

On Linux everything should be straight forward, Windows and OSX folders are hidden by default. If the files or folders can not be found:

Windows:

First, open the Folder Options window. On Windows 8 and 10, click the “Options” button on the View toolbar. On Windows 7, click Organize > Folder and search options.
Select "Show hidden files, folders and drives"
Uncheck "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)"

Mac OSX:

Open Terminal found in Finder > Applications > Utilities
In Terminal, paste the following: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
Press return
Hold the ‘Option/alt’ key, then right click on the Finder icon in the dock and click Relaunch

I think an ICO is great idea if... If there are real changes/projects/new ideas to fund. Forgive me if I haven't been keeping up, not a lot of time these days but, I have been holding EMC2 since '14 and have always believed in the project. So, what could you do with ICO funds right now? (other than the obvious marketing campaign)

EMC2 is only going to have a total of 299 million coins circulating? If so, isn't the price going to rise quickly after that? I would think this coin could go to $1 within a year or two

There is a crap load of ICOs coming in June, like an absolute crap load (and most are just a load of crap).
Saying that, every other silly idea is pulling in like $17 million so ... perhaps we should jump on the bandwagon. We actually have good ideas.

EMC2 was not an ICO ... that only got invented with XBC on Poloniex couple of months after EMC2 came out Cheesy

CoinFest UK was great, just great. Many folks from last year were there, we had beers .. many many beers. Pics to come shortly.

A fair few people really liked the revamped EMC2 and the new and improved Varvarin. What a difference a year away from UK and work does to a man is amazing. You are all invited to Amsterdam Cheesy
