Newbie Question: how does one 'claim' a fork like this ETZ team did? Tried google and can't find an answer.

I thought it was on 19th? Suddenly it became 20th?
The claim is to have the fork at Etherblock 4936270. The current block is around 4934800. I guess we'll find out by tomorrow whether its real or not.

as far as all official announcement its showing the fork is cancelled, there is no news from the official dev. team.
so as far as i understand ( i might be wrong) this is all romeurs and got nothing what so ever real news to it.
the new date as well (20/01/2018) sound like a very doddogie date for me . so if like befor the fork was actually on the dev team would of stated date for it and wouldn't w8 until the day they said then tell every one oh sorry its tomorrow which in reality is what happened, so my guess some one is trying to run a scam of some kind so all you ppl out there saty safe and becarefull

this all sound very scammy to me,no words of the official team which you would think will be on full board to help investor join the new coin and asure them to trust the new path but i don't see any of tht.does any 1 really know or can confirm those are the ppl who say they are?!
