A "green" coin with scrypt algo? =/
Hmmm, don't you think it's better to make it PoS?

did signature campaign already begun?

No. The creator of our signatures had some issues and then I had to be out of my apartment for the weekend.

I hope to have it finished by tonight; I'm very sorry for the delays. But as we like to say, it's better to get it correct the first time.

I would be appreciative if one of you fine individuals could tell me why my client reads "no block source available", stating I am 17 weeks behind, 0.9.1.0 version, and using a Windows 8.1 OS. Thank you for your consideration to assist me. Smiley Cool

- Close any instances of the GreenCoin client
- Go to this location: c:\Users\[You]\AppData\Roaming\Greencoin
- add a file named greencoin.conf in the folder

place this code into the file (note this is info can always be found in the OP):

Code: (greencoin.conf)
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=21036
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
addnode=167.160.36.126
addnode=52.8.65.121
addnode=191.237.129.52
addnode=149.210.234.234
addnode=40.76.210.173

- Delete the blocks, chainstate, and database folders, and the peers.dat file. Some of these may not exist, but delete the ones that are there.

- Reopen the client (it may help to right-click and "Run as Administrator").

Had the same issue briefly, until I added the addnode addresses in the sample .conf from the OP.

Hello, I've just downloaded the macos version of the wallet but I can't have it to work, is there a new link? Thanks

Being patched now, I'll get back to you soon.

We should have another Mac version of the wallet soon; Anyone who could generate this should contact me so that we have the same setup for creating the wallet.

Also, we'll be releasing the details of our signature campaign either over the weekend or early next week. We are having some difficulty with the designs and I have a busy weekend in front of me because of class, etc.

Thank you for your patience.

Everyone:

I have re-enabled the P2pool however because there are 0 other connections into the world, it is about 3-4 seconds behind in finding blocks. I attempted to brute-force a block with some serious hashing power but no go. IF anyone runs a server wallet for GRE can you please host the p2pool server as well? You can git the software from here : https://github.com/ahmedbodi/p2pool-dev-fee (Thanks Ahmed). It should run pretty close to out of the box, I had to do a few things to make it work for me, so if you get stuck I can help.

tested.
blocks being found but i've no payouts.
and all blocks are found too easy which looks like wrong chain.
where's working block explorer ?

The blocks are on the correct chain. The problem is that they are being reported slowly and orphaned. Since I am the only real node, there's no way for p2pool to know when a new block comes in and the workers need to change work. So essentially the miners are being left to work on old shares. If p2pool was on a different fork, my wallet would have to be on the same fork. It doesn't work like you're describing.

We know. It's a timing issue that we are working on. Since they are a single block off it seems odd.

what do you mean a single block off ?
hashes are completely different for all blocks found on p2pool comparing to explorer

We essentially need to figure out who is on the right chain if there are different hashes for the same block.  I know when I did the update, we removed the entire chain and rebuilt it from scratch using the node 152.7.70.147 that was provided here as the guaranteed node.

btw, we do run a faucet for Greencoin as well and I haven't heard from anyone stating that they are not getting their coins.

That said, with the new version I am experiencing some real slowness with the daemon and occasional hangs.  This daemon only out of several that run on our server.
