about font and other GUI things, I'm going to change deeply the interface, using Awesomium to implement an advanced HTML interface right into the client
it will take a while but will pay off, i'll keep all updated about progression, will be cool

about hunter creation, i suppose your hunter has been created fine, mine too has that transaction kind, but if you look "name_firstupdate" transaction (the player creation involve 2 distinct transaction) you see the right name

I keep using my client to create players and it works well, when you see in chat "Eureka" is because someone create a player using Mithril Edition

as a final note: while the client can work launching qt wallet instead of daemon, i've to point out that the qt wallet is somewhat bugged and slower in responding to RPC commands
I think many will run those togheter if they relay on some modified version of the client that allow bot management, but i have to warn about qt problems
maybe when i'll add bot into my client and with the enhanced interface, there will be no need to run both

I know, Mithril Edition have miniwallet, I just still familiar with my qt... and it has some code from gatherAFK bot from BGB, so I can create many hunter and send them to location easily.
Can you give "change font" feature for next update ? Because Qt have more readable font than Mithril Edition.

I know it's spartan, but have you seen mini wallet inside the game? you can already send hucs to an address (but there isn't an address book)
I can't really do much more with this kind of interface, i have to focus on other more important stuffs and unlucky RPC commands hasn't access, afaik, to address book
anyway i'll add something to the mini wallet, like the ability to look inside a transaction (need to ask domob to do an RPC command that decode tx informations in a readable format)

glad to hear that
tbh sync speed shouldn't have improved because it relay on huntercoind.exe, but my client is a lot smoother and doesn't hangs, i think many people who leaved the game could come back and have a lot of fun like i had testing the client

moreover, now that i released it i will not stop developing it. Current version has a lot of bugs and lacking features regarding the GUI (interface) respect the one i've in mind
i haven't even implemented the ingame chat because XNA support for keyboard is so poor that just english keyboard works well (and i'm Italian so it's a layout problem even for me, with misplaced chars)
and to implement even a simple windows, takes a lot of effort because XNA hasn't a built in library so...
one of the things i'll do will be redo all the GUI, implementing Awesomium into my client, so I'll have a WEB like interface, much more powerful (at a cost maybe of some FPS but for this kind of games FPS isn't important)
It will take a while but will pay off

and beside that, there is the bot implementation into the client (hence the better GUI is mandatory, would be hard to manage a bot interface with current GUI system)
a lot of work to do but, hey, i like it

lol, a funny side effect about my client, i forget to remove the message "Eureka" when my client create a player and now it's funny to see a lot of happy hunters yelling that in blockchain

Is hunter coin talk gone? not loading for me a few days.

Ill give the client a try tomorrow if I get some time.

WOW!! I closed the wallet and then started mithril edition and waited less than 3 minutes for it to connect and open, then maybe another minute or 2 for the screen to populate anything on the map, but now that it loaded it looks GREAT! This should be a lot of fun......

you are welcome, feel free to report me anything that sounds wrong or confusing

it could take long for the daemon to warm up, but not too much (i'd say no more than 2 or 3 minutes on a classic HD, less on SSD and even less on RAM Disk)
if it keep giving you that error, you must check if you don't have any conflict with settings in huntercoin.conf in your datadir folder (default is %appdata%/huntercoin )

note that you can't run my client with an active QT Wallet already opened

Stuck at 27% two times when I download blockchain 148k, anyone have the same problem ?

Problem Solved!
Download again the client, it has been updated, now short login should work and in case of error you should see it and not being stucked without info

so download again the client and test it out!

I've found the problem
I'm fixing it then i'll update website and release new version of the client

there is a bug when you use username with less then 8 chars
if you register with another account with at least 8 chars it works

if it crashes, it's because probably you didn't have alla requirements installed
