Here's my theory:
AH! A theory! All theories need at least 1 attempt at debunking~!
I think that HUC is heading to a more skilled level of users: users who know coding, know how to run bots and know how to play the game without wasting their time in front of the PC 24h/day. I think because of that less and less 'noob' people will come to play the game by themselves. Unfortunately because of that the numbers of noobies will drop and also the number of players will drop, causing the minority of coders to get 80% of all the hucs. This will lead to a price variation because the minority will rule over the HUC market and this coin will face 'waves' of prices. I expect this coin will go up and down frequently.
Just keep your eyes open.
You'd be surprised at what motivates some people.
Expect some new things in the near future.
Just because of that I don't think this coin will become the new bitcoin. Yes bitcoin is instable too, but it hasn't faced a drop of price of over 50%, and this drop occurred only because a huge bit-company has closed.
Huntercoin was never ever ever going to replace Bitcoin.
Snailbrain already pointed out that BTC has lost over half its value more than once. Check some charts - it happens once or twice a year.
Then it continues its rise to the moon!
I think de devs should reconsider the legality of using bots in the game and let noobies play again.
You are quite literally, and I do mean literally, asking for the impossible.
You've basically asked for someone to stop the sun from rising, although stopping the sun from rising is actually more likely than what you've asked for. Literally. Not joking.
You can investigate that by searching for "Turing completeness".
It is literally impossible to stop bots.
I think HUC needs stability with at least a equal number of bots and human players in the game and let more and more people join. I believe in a HUC world where millions of people play, not only 3-4 people with thousands of hunters.
Keep your eyes on the thread here, but moreso on the official Huntercoin forums here:
http://forum.huntercoin.org/Make sure to read in the General Discussion and General Development. There are some discussions popping up that address those. There will be more.
The problem isn't bots... I'll skip that though as the topic is just way too big to get into here. (The forums above are a better place.)
That's only my theory, please don't hate.
No hate! Get in the forums above & chime in there. Discussions are more focused and productive there than in here.
I would like to help huntercoin grow even more because I like the project, but unfortunately I can't play the game any more unless I buy a 200$ script or invest in thousands of hucs. I don't believe in alliances of real people because those things won't last forever.
Just wait... What you want is going to be available... it's just a matter of time...
