I think the limit will be the number of items to sell based on your points which is derived from the scores/rate of of your buyers. The better rating you have, the more you can buy. Also, basically the buyers will definitely compare the cost of goods from different platforms whether blockchain bases or not and leverage on where they can spend at lesser cost.
What's the point of limiting a buyer, not a seller?According to the WP the proppper mount of tokens of buyer will be vested and only then the seller could sent him some goods! But there are some other risks that should be managed by the platform, such as the customs procedures with the goods due to the regulation of the country of the buyer and кesolving complaints about the quality of goods and returning them to the seller or replacement, refund of poor quality goods, etc.

Now there is such a situation that most coins after entering the market are sold there much cheaper than during the ICO. This trend has developed because of those people who are trying to immediately sell their coins. Those who get bounty or airdrop, immediately try to sell their coins. In most cases, the coin grows only when the company publishes good news and shows in real life how their project develops.
So more and more projects nowadays try launch alpha or beta version of the product before the tokensale ends and I regard this as a positive step!
