I wanted to ask on the dividend account why the holders of your lottery's tokens are paid very small dividends, although you have very large sums of money for the jackpot? Another question is how can I play your lottery if I have SmartBillions tokens? Can I buy lottery tickets by paying for them with SmartBillions tokens How much does it cost 1 ticket for lottery in SmartBillions tokens? Thank you

What is going on???

The ETH in the smart contract is disappearing, whilst https://www.smartbillions.com/stats shows that it should be increasing.

Are people changing their SMART into ETH, or is something really bad happening right under our noses?

When I last posted about this there was 6000 ETH, now there is 5400 ETH.

SmartBillions Dividend information.

First SmartBillions dividend period ends after the 4680386 ETH Block - around 1 pm 5.12.2017. After this block all token holders will be allowed to withdraw their dividends from SmartBillions smart contract.

Please transfer all your SMART Tokens to your ETH wallets with private key access. Please do not keep your Tokens on the exchanges when the Dividend period ends.

How to claim your Dividend:

1.   You can just simply send 0 ETH to the contract address from your wallet where you keep your SMART Tokens. Contract address: 0x6F6DEb5db0C4994A8283A01D6CFeEB27Fc3bBe9C
You will receive your dividend automatically.
Note: If you claim your dividend for the first time you may have to send the transaction twice.
Please set your GAS price to 1 gwei and GAS limit to 300000.
2.   You can Play the lottery using wallet with SMART Tokens stored, Dividends will be sent automatically to your wallet when you purchase the lottery ticket.
3.   You can also access the contract using myetherwallet how to proceed.
a.   Visit https://www.myetherwallet.com/#contracts
b.   Please select SmartBillions – SMART from existing contracts list
c.   Please visit: https://etherscan.io/address/0x6f6deb5db0c4994a8283a01d6cfeeb27fc3bbe9c#code
And please copy Contract ABI
d.   Please paste the copied Contract ABI to ABI / JSON Interface box on previously visited myetherwallet website
e.   Press “Access”. In the Read/ Write Contract section please select payDividends function.
f.   Access the wallet that holds your SMART Tokens
g.   Click Write ->Generate transaction -> Yes, I am sure
Additional information:
- If you don't claim, it accumulates all past periods until you do.
- Dividend payout may also include affiliates and unpaid wins.
- Only completed (past) periods are considered in the payout.

Next Dividend period ends around 31.12.2017. Every Dividend period lasts 163840 ETH blocks.

The instructions are not precise or Ethereum sucks or both.
For 20 minutes I got stuck because the "payDividends function" appeared to me as just the "Dividends" function.
Below that field I was required to fill another 2 fields:
"uint256" and a child filed of the same "uint256" field where there is a default " which made no sense to me.
At some point, perhaps by refreshing the page, it started to work like in the instructions.
But in no point I have found the option where to set GAS price to 1 gwei.
Where should I set it? I would not like to end up paying more gas for the transaction than the amount of my dividents.

Can the team provide instruction how to collect from a mist wallet ? Mist does not allow to send 0 ether...

Well then send 0.0000001 or something like that. If it doesn't work, you haven't lost much...

So has the first dividends payout been made yet and how do we ensure the payout will be sent to our MEW wallet?

The dividend's are not processed automatically. They are stored in the smart contract, your dividends will be kept there until you collect it. Check a few posts up for instructions on how to do that.

The currency is going well and the technology of the contract is correct, the first benefits have already been distributed. But the transaction costs of the ether network is creating serious problems as they think about solving them? Is there any plan?

SmartBillions development team is working on multibet solution. We will introduce 2 improvements in January.
1. Multiple bets on one draw. Players will be allowed to purchase multiple tickets on one draw
2. Same numbers on multiple bets. Players will be allowed to play their lucky numbers on multiple bets automatically.
Multibet solutions answers lottery players expectations and will boost ticket sales.

This is really good news! The more options for the players, the more customers will find what they are looking for.

I somehow seem to remember that the contract had 6300 ETH inside it.

What happened to 300 if they were not given as prizes (https://www.smartbillions.com/stats)

Don't really have time to look through all transactions, but I have found one with 118 ETH going out:
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x9ebed8ab363ae5682f83775367289a938713e59752ae7630055cb4d52d6ccc73

According to whitepaper 0.25% can be withdrawn by admin for marketing. Is my maths missing something, or does someone think we are blind?

Please explain this.

SmartBillions update 11.12

GAS price update.

Due to the recent ETH network congestion the default GAS price was rised to match the average GAS price in the ETH network. As for now (Monday 12:00 GMT) the number of unconfirmed transactions is dropping. The GAS price is also reduced. We will be adjusting the default GAS price to the current ETH network situation. Hopefully within next days we will be able to reduce the GAS price to 4 GWEI as it used to be before the congestion.

Development update.

Marketing update.

Due to the network congestion the marketing campaign budgets were reduced. The ETH network situation made lottery participation inconvenient for the players. Recently with the reduced GAS price marketing will be back to normal.

Goodbye, Z.
If the win is higher then the pot you will get the payment  in rounds (rates)
until you get the full amount you have won.
Unless you are owner of the site you should be quiet, because what you just wrote is nonsense and can only mean that they don't have money to pay jackpot higher than 6K eth, with that said they shouldn't even offer so high jackpot. Are you owner?
You dont need to be the owner to spot their advertising bullshit.
It's not that what they wrote is bullshit, but that the estimates are.
The site isn't solvent enough to cover full jackpot hits, so only the solvency gets covered.

They will be paying that for the rest of their lives - and what if someone hit jackpot again? And again? How will they cover it?
What if someone wins 7,000,000ETH? How will they pay that?
They wont.

I would just say RTFM (whitepaper)  https://smartbillions.com/docs/SmartBillions_Smartpaper.pdf
on page 24 you have explanation of "Wins payouts".
Maybe it will be more clear.
Now why would I do that?
Is that stated on site?
What, if bitcointalk goes down, new players won't be able to read rules?

OK. Lets read whitepaper:
Quote
c. Wins payouts
If a particular player’s win makes up more than 50% of the Jackpot value,
that player can instantly withdraw only 50% of the Jackpot.
After that, the
player will be able to cash out up to 50% of the Jackpot value every period
(approx. 1 month) until the withdrawal of the total value of the win
.

If someone wins 70000ETH:

1) Jackpot size is 6200 ETH
2) Winner will get 3100ETH first month
3) Total bet value: 170.20239500 ETH
    Eth won         : 117.44508000 ETH
If these are all time statistics:
4) player will get next month 1550ETH
5) third month - winner will get 700ETH.
6) ETC.

They will be paying that for the rest of their lives - and what if someone hit jackpot again? And again? How will they cover it?
What if someone wins 7,000,000ETH? How will they pay that?

You could win that amount only if you bet 1 eth.
How is that?
It clearly says 0.01eth/ticket = 70000ETH jackpot.

1ETH/ticket = 7000000ETH  Shocked

0.001ETH/ticket = 7000ETH

If the win is higher then the pot you will get the payment  in rounds (rates)
until you get the full amount you have won.
Unless you are owner of the site you should be quiet, because what you just wrote is nonsense and can only mean that they don't have money to pay jackpot higher than 6K eth, with that said they shouldn't even offer so high jackpot.
Are you owner?

No I'm not the owner.

Yeah you are right I did not went to check the exact numbers.
Looking at that 7000000ETH seams really high amount for payout.  Roll Eyes

Sorry I'm not English native speaker maybe you have not understood my explanations.
