It can be they are getting quite busy with ICO, they should have hired a community manager in here to answer the questions maybe

a community manager would be worth it. you pay little money to him or give him tokens, and the gain you get is prolly genereous big...

everyone should hire at least a com manager only to answer all those questions from the users quickly...

yes it's money well invested, there is no point in having a thread if there is no interaction with the team. Lets hope they understand and things change

Has anyone asked about this on their telegram? I don't really do telegram myself (maybe i should)... but still would be nice to have answers in here too.

Its a little to late for that now since ICO is already coming to an end. The most question needed to be answered when people were deciding to invest and not after. But on the other hand, if you were really interested, you should go to telegram, its not that hard to download the app and join.

Telegram is easy to use. But that's a mistake to forget btctalk community in my opinion.

I agree with that, IMHO telegram and bitcointalk should be main source of info

But i think bitcointalk is the first priority because team first time announced ico on bitcointalk and new people usually search ico project on bitcointalk not on telegram. So the team must active here not on telegram

The Bitcoin SegWit2X fork will take place in about 2 weeks.

https://coinsalad.com/2x/countdown

Everybody is hoarding Bitcoin right now. SOMA should consider extending the ICO until after the fork.

So the ICO is ending just one day before the Bitcoin fork? That's indeed not a really good moment. I am wondering why they haven't decided to just extend the ICO for 1 or 2 weeks longer so that investors can react to the situation after the fork.

I don't want a community manager on telegram or discord. Everybody's first priority should be here. I shouldn't need anything other than here to take current news from the team.

It is really necessary to make the Icos aware that bct wire is still the best meeting point with its most aggressive investors, and of course, the safest platform to keep professional contacts without taking absurd risks as there is in the telegran and discord

Slack is really good but people started to fall to scammers and slack devs can't do anything about that. To be honest if you fall for slack's scams you must stay away from crypto at all.
However, I'm glad that the most trustworthy platforms these days are the good old forums
I agree with you it's funny how many people fall to such plump scams. I hope soma will get some more funds in the end period of this ICO.

I'm not surprised. One day I received an sms from a scammer telling me to connect to my bank. I answered does that really work ? I thought I would have no response, he said 20% ok the bank users having enabled the sms option. I said why do you do this ? He said because I know no other jobs giving me 4000$ per week.

I know that I much prefer BTCT than slack/telegram. There's too much random chatter going on in the chat programs, so sifting through to find the important information is quite tedious.

There is still two weeks left in the ICO so there is a chance that investment will pick up, but i think it will be difficult considering btc's current situation.

To be honest, I don't like Telegram that much. It's good to make announcements but for a discussion, it's useless because when there are too many people in there, it's full of spam and the questions get lost in all the messages. This is the reason I prefer this forum here and I think they are neglecting it at the moment.
I think for community management discord would be better than telegram. Devs can make different channels for official announcements, discusions, Q A sessions and much more.

the airdrop is in my opinion a good advertising tool people who do not know what about will be curious and look for more information...
I agree it's a good tool to enhance their project.

the more people have the token the more will be aware and promote the project.

It would be very good to airdrop on their platform and make people spend it there. Instead of cashing out and dumping. I think its fine to tell people here is 20$ free bucks but you can only spend it on our platform. Gamble sites do this all the time with big bonuses. You get a bonus but need to gamble it like 100 times before you can cash out

Poker platforms back in good ol' days gave free $ for registering, to withdraw you had to play the entire bonus. About Soma maybe it will be possible when closed or open beta will be launched, download app, register and we credit 30 SCT tokens", something like that

I used to have blackjack bots, got 5000$ bonus on a site for deposit and u had to play a few thousand hands. Bot played it all, lost 3k, but you gain 2k cause the bonus was cleared

I'm not sure that's entirely true. Isnt marketing just as important after the ICO as it is before the ICO?

Yes airdrop is a nice way to promote a project, and people are always glad to reiceived token. But soma has already a lot of argument to advertise, a huge partnership, an alpha app and good visibility. Soma will be a great platform I think and people really enjoy the project.
