Has anybody watched this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QUrFgvB5Lc

It's long and the audio is not that good but it's a good resource of information about the project.

It is a really good and in depth presentation.I think that is a bit problem when it comes to AGATE , it has so much to offer and it seems so complex at first. That might be a factor that makes new people unsure about it.We could use some simple version that show what AGATE will offer in essence.

i must say that I agree with you on this one. Some shorter videos that focus on the most important features would surely encourage more people.Connection with paypal it terms of similarity is a goo example.

What I like about this project is it tackles the very basic transaction between different merchants and banks . Crypto usage is still a taboo for merchants as volatility sets in but they are really open to Agate's idea of handling the process of conversion.

Great thing is that they have a system designed that is going to try to tackle that issue of currency volatility, especially important for merchants.

What advantages you have before existing similat projects? Utrust, Monatha, PumaPay developing the same platform and they started first  Huh

I would suggest to read the white paper in detail to see the massive difference between the whole concept of Agate and other projects, not to mention Agate  is not an app or dapp on existing blockchains like bitcoin to etherum , Agate is a whole ecosystem include 2 mobile app , plugins and addins, iFiat ecosystem whit stable coin, a physical POS terminal and .... which running on AGATE Blockchain to resolve the volatility issues in EryptoEconomy .

As I understand they want to provide payment platform for merchants etc (like Utrust and some other projects).
POS terminal? You mean devices like making Pundi? They have prototype already or this is just in plans?

Yeah, but here merchant would get the money almost instantly thanks to IFiat Ecosystem. Some things are already in beta, some are still in development.POS Terminal will come later.

Can people from USA participate in your ICO?

Unfortunately no, same goes for the China. Still no changes on that issue.

Im sure that will change soon, but even without that this project is good enough to attract many other investors all over the world.

Well yes, but in the end this is a problem with which all other projects have to deal with... I hope this will change soon.

Yeah too bad for so many restrictions Im sure those regions would have a lot of investors.

Yeah, sometimes i feel a bit glad for been in those countries with so many regulations and restrictions and on the other hand i feel sad those who lives in this countries and would love to participate.

It will be seen whether excluding your population from participating in the ICO wave does your country any good. They can also miss the chance of their lifetime.

Well south korea might lift the ban, I believe those bans will be lifted when there is a more regulation and more security implemented to protect the investors.

Exactly, this restrictions can't go on for long i believe, the reason why this is paramount is because of lack of securities and regulations that can protect the investors, this means government of those countries care more about their citizens welfare than others Grin

Not so sure if they seriously mostly care about their citizens. I rather believe they care a lot about themselves and are therefore afraid of this movement.

Unfortunately. I'm afraid it's just so ...

It is certainly that way. They do something for the citizens but only as much as they have to before a riot breaks out.

a very interesting project I think with the allocation of funds on each item quite a lot, the sale of coins also offers many bonuses, I also see this project developed a bounty program, where I can see the thread about bounty?

Their allocation of funds looks great and smart!

Don't know why it would matter who started first or who's on the market longer but who has a better product that fits peoples needs.

According to your roadmap there was a beta app released in March 2018? Is there a way to see it, maybe give it a try? Smiley

I too would like to see a review of some sort. Written or in video format, what ever is doable.

Me too, hopefully we will get some from bounty hunters soon.

Yes, that's most likely as you get awarded stakes for that video.

I've noticed a lot of projects incentivize people for reviews. An amazing review would be if one of the beta testers or someone from the community who had managed to try out the app was able to make a short presentation video. It would boost confidence in the project definitely.

Transferwise is your partner? http://prntscr.com/k80q89
LOL haven't checked other "partners" but 99.99% they all had never heard of AGATE =)

is there someone from the team who can share some names of partners?

You can check the list of the partners on the website.Just have to scroll down a bit Cheesy

https://www.agatechain.org/

I see a list of possible partners at the very end in the 'Backed By' section. Are they really the partners?
