Been seeing a ton of listings for cards on ebay.
Perhaps people are trying to unload product after putting sets together for the redemption program.
Can't wait to see what these 1/1 diamond refractors are going to go for.
Word of redemption program is not widely known. I'm changing my Ebay ads to explain that there may be future programs. Also, I put a note in each package explaining how to get here.
With the cards now on target, Amazon and gamestop, some folks just going for ballet wallet?? Or they are seeing that a cardsmiths box is pretty good roi compared to a sports box. One could spend 200 on a ginter box and have 30 bucks in resell cards. The 4 foil cards in a cardsmiths box return that (almost) alone
Where was future redemptions ever mentioned? Possibly said off hand but was that confirmed??? Maybe I missed it
There were hints and chatter in the forum of future redemption programs, but nothing was verified.
I think the Diamond redemption program was to generate interest/sales in the product.
Without having inventory numbers to compare, I believe the redemption program was successful to a certain extent.
Greater number of listings and sales on the secondary markets. Boxes now available retail at GameStop.
It also added a bit of fun to the whole thing. A cool idea overall.
I'd imagine that if sales really started to stall out, they may create another redemption program. However, that would really start to get into the shitcoinery behavior of printing more coins/cards and diluting the value of the rest.
It might be in their best sales interest to do another redemption program, but may not be in the best interest of those collecting these cards as an investment vs. a novelty.
