There should never have been an ico for this project, it should have been BTCD swap and POW.
The situation has simply created a scammed class of BTC investors that get to hold the bags while BTCD swappers scramble for the exit lol

I suggest you stop using the "scam" word. Someone might take offense to it...

Don't be upset bagholder, if it's any consolation I think 6k is the floor  Cheesy

Well what is Bitcoin at when it is at 6K?

The price hasn't really changed from what I see first time I looked a few weeks ago KMD was 10 cents, and 9 cents was the high today. If you need to check this info just look below the price at Bittrex it will help you understand the value of a coin vs Bitcoin. https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-KMD look for the dollar symbol.

If you bought in when Bitcoin was at $700 and you do some math now you might notice the dollar amount is the same. Had you held your Bitcoin and sold at $1300 that is what you missed, but it should be about the same value now. No one would sell for a loss and anyone who is selling is getting Liquidity on the chance that Bitcoin goes up. It is called a market. You can be hedged in KMD hoping it takes off and make money from the move. Then it augments your Bitcoin profit or value.
I keep seeing this argument popping up again and again. It sounds good, yeah.
4 Months ago I have invested my funds in KMD,  ETH and Dash. $700 to $1300? hm, OK. Majority of people here considers BTC is the only currency out there.
I did not sell my KMD for only one reason, high entry point. Most of the other ones are sold already.

It's not the question of how BTC goes, it's how the team sells the product. What I see here is just wait and wait and wait for the final version when everything works. Is it a good approach? I do not know.
What I know is others keep selling expectations remarkably good, while here, we are waiting for the final release of something new and revolutionary. Week by week. And when its out, so what? We knew it was coming... With no marketing as it is (please don't quote those 6 months old posts) KMD is up to absorb all non-believers and margin traders taking a lose. (Thanks JL for taking that bot out btw, otherwise, community would have to deal with your fees too).

I have no doubt this tech would succeed, but if you look at what WAVES and LISK did, I feel a bit ashamed for telling my friends it could be a good investment.
I do not know about others, but I see no marketing at all. You guys can say what you want (no funds as always) but when I see stupid "bitcoincasino.us" ad 20 times a day I want to check it out.
Not a frigging gambler, but I do...

I have some question about the Windows wallet.
Are we going to get our REVS supported in the next Windows wallet release?

I really like the new Windows wallet, so i hope in the next update, our REVS will get supported by the wallet too...any plan to add our REVS in Windows wallet?

Yes, it is there!

Can someone shine a light on the revshare asset.

What I understand so far: There should be a client for that asset chain and you somehow import your btcd private key int here and done !?
So I do not need to have to deal with the Komondo ICO page to get rev shares corretc?

Second what are they good for?
Do they generate interest in kmd or something or is this just another coin/asset with 0 interest and 0 value because no one uses it?

I try to figure out if it even makes sense to claim those shares. When there is no value attached to them I don't see what they are good for and why I should even bother to get them!?

REVS asset gets some revenue out of the SuperNET services, so it will pay dividends. There's is no roadmap or tech behind it... it just plays dividends. Very simple Smiley

For now, we haven't paid any dividends as the platform is just coming online and thus there hasn't been any siginificant profit.

The REVS asset has been distributed already, you have it if you had BTCD in your local wallet OR swapped to KMD before the BTCD snapshot date.
-> if you held BTCD in your local wallet you need your BTCD privatekey
-> if you swapped KMD before the snapshot you will need your seed

Use the REVS explorer (revs.supernet.org) to check if you have received REVS. The address is the same as your KMD address (if you swapped) or then it is your BTCD address (if you held it in your local wallet).

BTCD 1:1 REVS

Next Iguana release supports REVS, so it can be accessed and sent our from the GUI itself. In ~few months you can trade it with our decentralized exchange EasyDEX.

Thank you very much!
This was the cause. My OS still ran an old process of Iguana in the background, tough the app was closed.
After I terminated the process and restarted Iguana, everything worked fine again.

Is something wrong with the Iguana wallet 0.1.4?
When I input my wallet seed to log in I get the message "Opps ... something went wrong!".
Same message appears when I create new wallet and confirm the seed.
Days ago I successfully logged in.

Check your process list. Iguana is probably still running

Revs asset has 5% of supernet crypto777 and instantdex revenue streams being paid to it when those projects come online.

I sent my funds out of my ico account into the wallet address provided within my ico account. status says sent but i dont know where they are.  Undecided

Unless you are one of the KMD developers, you can't send anything out of the ICO account.  If you requested a payout and it says sent, then check the blockchain and see if they were sent to the address or not.

Yes it has been sent so how do i access my coins now?

If you have your "Seed", you can access your Komodo coin with Iguana wallet.
You can download Iguana wallet here>>> https://github.com/SuperNETorg/iguana/releases

Just put your Seed there, and you have your coins inside wallet..

Is anyone else having an issue where their balance in https://kpx.io/ block explorer for an address is not the same as what Iguana/EasyDEX is showing?    This happened with any address of mine and was about 200 KMD off.   I just moved all my KMD to a new address and now it's 2.7 KMD off.  I don't get why it would wouldn't show the same balance.

It is because of the 5% APR interest. The explorers don't update the received interest.

In the next iguana release this confusion is fixed by having a separate interest box

Oh, I have just understood this difference between KPX.IO explorer and Iguana wallet . that is 5% APR interest.
I thought this KPX explorer was wrong but I was wrong. Thank you for your answer.

Can someone tell me how to swap BTCD into komodo coin? And Is there iguana for windows 10?  Someone else has said if it gets crash.

To swap BTCD to Komodo first get an account in http://ico.komodoplatform.com and PLEASE save the wallet seed in safe place. A new komodo wallet address will be generated . Under the menu swap you can see there is an address where you can send your BTCD. Wait till confirmation then request for a payout .

Dear jwiz168, I'm also interested in knowing how to swap BTCD into KMD but your answer did not point it out correctly and I will be happy if you can explain in details because your explanation seems to be like a dead end to me. After waiting for the confirmation then request for a payout will the BTCD automatically swap into KMD just like that?

BTCD does not automatically swap. Dev are the one who will do it then by batches they will convert your btcd into equivalent kmd and send it to your generated wallet. So if still your kmd has not yet arrived, notify jl777 to take a look at your swapping information .

Technically, the swap is done automatically but the payout is done manually.

hulla, jwiz168's instructions seem pretty clear. Assuming you have BTCD you want to swap, as jwiz168 said, create an account on http://ico.komodoplatform.com, click on the tab named SWAP to get your BTCD address for the swap and send your BTCD to it. Once you've done that, there is no going back, and you'll have the corresponding KMD depending on the displayed rate. That's it for the swap.

To get your Komodos, click on the tab named PAYOUT and follow the instructions, as jwiz168 said payouts are done manually in batches, the last one was yesterday (Friday), the next one will be on next Friday if there are enough payout requests, otherwise, it will wait an additional week.

Ok thank you, it is confusing and just not a great thing to have the explorer not return the accurate balance at an address.

Anyway I am buying some more KMD at these low prices.  It is a speculative play, but just betting that this is near the short-term bottom and we get a significant bounce before long.  However if BTC drops hard on the ETF denial, then it will drag KMD and pretty much all the other alts down with hit.  We shall see.

Btc will probably rise until 11 march when the decision comes. But that is the deadline and the 11th is a saturday so i will be on friday 10 or monday 13. When Btc increases the alts decreases and when Btc decreases the alts increases.

For more marketing idea, I thinks you guys should put "Banner Ads" on coinmarketcap.com & other bigger Crypto Exchanges.
Because they have big traffic coming from Crypto fans around the world...

Maybe something like this banner, but this is just a sample banner ads...you guys can try make attractive banner than this one i made  Grin

I don't think ad banner will work, one most people use adblock and it will be useless because I won't see any Komodo ads, and two, the team need to move on with their plan and get the job done, market will react with that. I have decided to keep my eyes of the price for now and give the team time to work and develop the platform
