42 more BTC and we'll hit 3500 BTC donated.  doing pretty good.  I bet early on it would be 2500 BTC at the end but shit, I was way wrong.   Lots of interest in this coin.  The guy who said 5000 BTC looks like he might be right lol.

Agree! This is why I would suggest to create a bounty pool for interested developers. If a dev has a good idea then he may apply for a bounty.

Without any real world applications, I don't think Lisk will surpass Ethereum. We need a good idea of how a Javascript application can be useful as a DApp.

Is there any specific documentation on traditional apps vs DApps?

Yes of course, lisk can't even surpass ethereum but (maybe) can create something similar.

However the people are investing because they want to double (or x3) their investment, most of them don't care about the 'technology' behind it.

x3 Smiley even most part of Iota investors don't sell under x10 although it doesn't exist yet. One should be a complete idiot to sell Lisk under x15-x20

Nah , most of them will sell also for a miserable x2 Wink.

A dapp is an app with a blockchain.  The dapp stores new information at blocktime intervals, and this information can be obtained from the dapp users themselves or obtained from elsewhere.  Once this new data is on the blockchain, it can be publicly viewed by everybody (not just the dapp user) and it cannot be tampered with or erased later and so becomes a permanent public record.  The individual that put data on the blockchain can prove they are the data originator.  The information stored on the blockchain can represent ownership of property.  The dapp program can monitor external data on the internet via APIs or webpage scraping, and can initiate an action (such as transferring Lisk from one account to another) if certain trigger criteria are met.  The blockchain is stored on multiple computers simultaneously and so is still available for access if one / many node fails or is shut down by outside forces such as government actions.

So the key to a good dapp is to think of an app that also uses the additional capabilities outlined above.

Anybody got any other qualifiers to add about the capabilities / advantages of having a blockchain integrated into a traditional app?

Here's some links worth reading about initial Ethereum dapp projects:

And here is an attempt to define dapps in a general, theoretical sense:

I want to buy LISK, but my Crypti from Bter are not withdraw. At whom such problem?

Everyone has had that same problem. Their hot wallet has been empty for the past several weeks.
If you bought your XCR cheapish, best bet may be to just cancel the withdrawal, sell the XCR for whatever you can get on Bter, and withdraw BTC. BTC withdrawals I think works (or worked a couple of weeks ago, anyway).
