Are there pools available?
I will try to make one, but I'm not even sure it will work as they didn't give any information about how we should configure it !
Maybe they want to restrict the pools to the two "official" ones, in order to receive a LOT of fees.
It's not premining but post-fee-mining lol

Since anyone can compile the new GPU (cuda) miner, it is totally worthless dealing with CPUs.
nvidia miners are not many,,, and they dont have big farms. anyone that builds a big mining farm uses ATI.
I wasn't even aware anyone had bothered writing a nvidia one. Even more surprised it's getting maintenance love.

Maybe not a popular opinion, but shouldn't we contact developers to ask for delay before CGminer for keccak would be released? Cause if they talk about fairness, Nvidia guys already have advantage on both cpu and ati users. And I don't see how less fair start could be than it is now.

Updated version (source) that supports keccak (SHA-3) is up. You can go ahead and compile it yourself.

there is no guarantee this code is error-free and working at time of launch.
check back 7 PM UTC for official binaries. That should give you half an hour for fine tuning the launch config.
So CPUs are outdated from now on.

if it is the case that that will work, i would ask the devs to hold the launch until there is both gpu miners for amd and nvidia, it would be the most unfair launch ever if nvidia users can mine with there gpus while the rest of us only have cpu.

I've already said my peace concerning this terrible launch. The coin lacks any innovation, the project planning was terrible and follow-up has been worse. With the CUDA miner in the wild, this should get interesting in 5 1/2 hours.
