Hi subSTRATA - Yes, you are the only person to vote at the moment - I assumed that i'd see the sending address of those who sent coins (because i'm happy to return them - i can see that it looks like a free coin bid though - but really? at 0.02p a coin i'm not gonna be rich!) - but the transaction says from unknown so i couldn't do this automatically. Mentioning it here isn't a solution as anyone could say they sent the coins, and i'd have no way of knowing the truth. Send me your address and i can return them.

I still find it odd that those deriding the coin are still posting. If i don't like something, i don't keep returning to the shop to vent... i move on. Surely if you have dumped all your coins, you have no interest any more? This is odd behaviour.

I suppose that those who have invested time/mining/money in this to see nil or negative results and have genuinely dumped them, are feeling insecure regarding their decision and need to keep returning to the forum to prove their decision was right. So we have a typical self-fulfilling prophecy - "i dumped because the coin is s&%t and if i continue to deride the coin, i can continue to feel good about my decision"

If you genuinely think this coin is going no-where, and have dumped all your coins, and if you post negativity here, you are just showing your own insecurity regarding your decision. If you disagree, prove it by getting off your soap box and move on. If you are 'out' what do you care that others are still 'in'?

i'm lucky enough (if that's the right phrase) to not really care what happens (i can afford to lose what i have invested in Maxcoin), but if it were to go up - albeit 1% or more, i means nothing unless there is a willing buyer and a simple way to make the trade.

I dumped them all during pumps, had a bad feeling.

Now it's value is much lower even after last tweet-pump with max douchebag keiser feeding us another bullshit that " the bottom was reached". Since then nothing good happened with the price.

I'm not saying this coin will go down forever but it's still at high market cap and has long way to go. Noone is going to sponsor the miners just to suck to max keiser's worthless tweet. Oh, I guess few believers will and the market maker will slowly dump on them and use them as support. Grin

By the way, startcoin is on its way to repeat maxcoin's success. Wink

People were saying the same thing when Maxcoin was $10.... then it dropped to $5 and they were still saying the same thing...then it dropped to $1......then to 50 cents..... now it's worthless, at a "price" of 1 satoshi, which is 1/100 of 1 cent and they're still saying the same thing.... LOL!!!!!!!

Maxcoin can be compared to Auroracoin.

Auroracoin was worth $80 at it's high, it then promptly fell to 10 cents, where it's at right now.

Max was worth $10 at it's high, now it's not even worth 1 satoshi (1 satoshi is worth around 1/100th of a cent.)

Anyone who defends Maxcoin is either a Bagholder, who bought at a high like many did and lost A lot of $(hoping to draw new buyers in to dump on them), or a Troll

Can anyone tell me what is going on with wallet? I just wanted to update it after some time. Wallet was syncing till it hit block 177565 and it stay there not moving forward. I do have 10 connections to network but wallet is not updating at all. It is Maxcoin version v0.8.9.0-g8c5e74e-beta.

i don't hate Max the person but i think his comments way back on the launch were not 100% honest.. the launch was botched and he should have said that.
the coin was unveiled on launch too so we all lined up to get involved and did not even know what we getting into until afterwards.
And the biggest disappointment of all was he dropped supporting it.
