Where is this coin alive? Some tweets with bullshit do not count.


I dumped them all during pumps, had a bad feeling.

Now it's value is much lower even after last tweet-pump with max douchebag keiser feeding us another bullshit that " the bottom was reached". Since then nothing good happened with the price.

I'm not saying this coin will go down forever but it's still at high market cap and has long way to go. Noone is going to sponsor the miners just to suck to max keiser's worthless tweet. Oh, I guess few believers will and the market maker will slowly dump on them and use them as support.  

By the way, startcoin is on its way to repeat maxcoin's success.

I hold a small amount of Maxcoin, too small to worry about the price going down any further (or up, for that matter).

But i find the pro-coin V hate-coin debate here an interesting social experiment.

It's natural that those who have spent a lot on this coin will post that it is alive - after all, they have an interest in raising the price.

Those that proclaim it dead may well be right, but if the coin is dead (and it looks that way, but looks can be deceiving) surely must have sold all their coins? (after all, it is only going to get worse, right?) and if so, why are they visiting this forum to post? surely people in this category will have moved on?

But regardless of whether the value of the coin goes up or down, you can only sell if there are willing buyers. So any increase is only 'monetised' if you can actually sell.

i'm lucky enough (if that's the right phrase) to not really care what happens (i can afford to lose what i have invested in Maxcoin), but if it were to go up - albeit 1% or more, i means nothing unless there is a willing buyer and a simple way to make the trade.

You are clearly bagholder which desperately wants maxcoin price up and do everything to achieve it.But unfortunately it not happens.
For AMxcoin its never bne time to buy becasue every buy will lead to huge loses.

Yea, listen to the guy who posted above. People were saying the same thing when Maxcoin was $10.... then it dropped to $5 and they were still saying the same thing...then it dropped to $1......then to 50 cents..... now it's worthless, at a "price" of 1 satoshi, which is 1/100 of 1 cent and they're still saying the same thing.... Maxcoin can be compared to Auroracoin.

Auroracoin was worth $80 at it's high, it then promptly fell to 10 cents, where it's at right now.

Max was worth $10 at it's high, now it's not even worth 1 satoshi (1 satoshi is worth around 1/100th of a cent.)

Anyone who defends Maxcoin is either a Bagholder, who bought at a high like many did and lost A lot of $(hoping to draw new buyers in to dump on them), or a Troll

So there is no interest in this coin, and yet ill informed people keep hounding it as if there is some reward in doing so.  Why is that? 

There are hundreds of coins worth less than MAX and yet this is the only one that comes under consistent fire.  Anyone with the basic grasp of human interaction knows that you do not attack that which does not pose a threat to you.  Why put forth the effort for something that does not matter?  If the coin is dead, as they would like newcomers to believe, then there is no reason to keep coming back and waste valuable time.  You have to aim up, to shoot something down!  And we all know how far the naysayers are below us

The game being played by the MAX "haters" is a psychological one, as it take more intelligence, ingenuity, and technical know-how to wage a technical battle in the crypto space.  When logical attacks fail, the weak minded have to resort to character assassination such as the for-mentioned "f**ing douchebag" remark.  Libel and speculation are the only tools left to those desperate to see the bags they are holding rise.  The only reason these threats persist is because MAX is in a position to threaten what they have put so much stock into.  And so the attacks persist. 

If you are new to the MAX community, take solace in the fact that such slander and lies are being slung at MAX.  Buy while it's cheap, contribute where you can, and if you can't contribute, donations are always welcome as the more projects are completed by the community, the more value is brought to the coin. 

I have it that a bounty board is being erected post haste, and any that contribute will be fairly rewarded for their efforts.  I have donated much today to ensure that these tasks get done right and in a timely manor.  Thank you for your interest and I will do my best to keep you posted from here on out.

Can anyone tell me what is going on with wallet? I just wanted to update it after some time. Wallet was syncing till it hit block 177565 and it stay there not moving forward. I do have 10 connections to network but wallet is not updating at all. It is Maxcoin version v0.8.9.0-g8c5e74e-beta.

i don't hate Max the person but i think his comments way back on the launch were not 100% honest.. the launch was botched and he should have said that.
the coin was unveiled on launch too so we all lined up to get involved and did not even know what we getting into until afterwards.
And the biggest disappointment of all was he dropped supporting it.
I don't think we expected him to talk about it every day.. but he seems like he has gone out of his way to avoid the coin for ages now.

Pumping and dumping a coin is not illegal or unusual either.. i kinda figured it would play out how it did.. what did you all expect ?
