Yes, but first it makes sense to start the wallet with '-rescan' commandline switch so it 'forgets' the unsuccessful transaction and recovers its coins.
Where to add this '-rescan' command - into the conf file or debug window?
It only works as a commandline switch I believe. Here is how to do that for Bitcoin, please adjust for Maxcoin where needed:
Assuming you mean WINDOWS 7 you:
1) Create a shortcut for bitcoin-qt on your desktop.
2) Right-click the shortcut and select properties.
3) In the field labeled Target type -rescan on the end.

P.S. default is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe" so the target field would end up looking like
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe" -rescan.

Thanks Reorder - your posts are very useful for me at 1GH.com theme as well.
The wallet is latest version - v0.9.1.0 and I restarted the wallet couple of times - without success.
I also saw that there is no info into the http://max.cryptoexplore.com/search - but I have - (minus) 10 coins transaction into the wallet transactions - i.e. the coins were sent with transaction ID as I posted above!
Should I try with another transaction?

Can somebody please help me, or advice me to whom to contact for below problem:
Yesterday I have sent from wallet 10 MAX to my account at Cryptsy - now, nearly 24 hours later, into the wallet transactions there are 0 confirmations and the coins are not into Cryptsy account of course!
Transaction ID is 8a839e69c45074a38748cd16a6ce00f5fee343a93e7244c3e1647b5849172bff-000
What can be the reason??? The wallet is latest version, synchronized  and makes 8 connections.
I can send screen shots if this can be helpful.
Please help me or at least advice to whom to contact!
Thanks
Most probably you are running not the latest version of wallet after all. If it is not the case, it is safe to restart the wallet and retry sending as soon as the transaction did not make it to the blockchain: http://max.cryptoexplore.com/search/?s=8a839e69c45074a38748cd16a6ce00f5fee343a93e7244c3e1647b5849172bff

That's going to be a thick (and quickly outdated, with all the new coins launching every week) book Cheesy

Please say if any information is incorrect.
It lists Poloniex as an exchange - read up a bit, Poloniex is about to de-list MAX.
In fact they already did. They must be regretting that today sorely Smiley

How stupid exchange they are!  Grin

Here is the preliminary section for Maxcoin:

Please say if any information is incorrect.  I need a slogan for MAX and further important historical points.  I will publish my book this summer.  Any donations will be highly appreciated:

I think MAX should be the new GPU coin when the ASIC kill scrypt.

ASIC won't kill scrypt. It will however probably kill antiquated GPU mining.

ASICs only benefit the ASIC seller, the hardware makers in China. They presell and wont ship until its absolutely not profitable. Before that they just use it themselves to mine with it, using the hardware you PRE-PAID for. This is a known fact. Thats why all ASICs are "always LATE for shipping and months behind" because they are using the hardware and waiting for difficulty to skyrocket before they ship them to the poor, idiot, greedy buyer. The buyer spends $4000 on a piece of hardware that just makes it harder for him and anyone else to mine. Exactly what happened to BTC, buying a $4000 BTC miner makes you $12/day that BS. ASIC do kill mining.

GPU mining is never antiquated because its Windows based and possibilities are limitless. There will be constant new algorithms and ways to make new coins.

Keep calm and wait for the dump. It was just an article with nothing new about it. Just some random speculation.

It's more like the lack of good news is making a dent rather that the bad ones Smiley.

The usual fear of ASIC of people with one video card card hoping to buy a lambo from their mining .
