If you choose to mine on this pool I can promise you spend more time coin-switching than actually mining thanks to pool admins incompetence.

STAY AWAY!!!!

It's true! In fact yesterday was the most profitable day I've ever had since I started mining, thanks this this pool. Oh wait, that contradicts what you said, doesn't it?

Did you actually get paid yesterday?

I ask because i havent got paid for the last 2 days. Merc did mention something about not being around for "one" day so i expected payment for two days today but got nothing.

News just says "Tonight's payout will be missing the DOGE we mined today. "

Can someone clue me in into whats happening with trade my bit..

Last payment was on 2-21-2014 ( 18:51 )

I`ve got a question,

I`m trying to mining Dopecoin with Trademybit since it's profitability is quite high.
Though my stats don't seem to update each 15 minutes as it does with other coins.
I`ve been mining for all night now though it doesn't seem to have mined at all, is this caused by the main DB upgrade?

As i`m mining it straight away via the 3387 port, i`m trying to connect via the stratum-eu server though it doesn't seem to work, pool appears dead.
It does work for the stratum-us server though.

Cheers,

Merc - is there anyway you can put up on the website the est profit stat for the two multiports (scrypt-n and scrypt)?  You know, the one that says how much btc/1mh/s stat.  Per my ignorance, if there is something up already and I dont see it, or an easy way to calculate this, please let me know.

I had earned 0.013 BTC for 24 hours mining with 860KH/s on Scrypt-N. So now you can calculate it your self. Smiley Scrypt-N is profitable but due to it cuts your hashrate in to half the profits also get cut into half of what scrypt gives you. Currently Scrypt-N needs more coins.

So in the post panda apocalypse, does anyone know about what 1MH/BTC/DAY would be for mining the Scrypt-N multiport with Vertminer?

Trying to decide if I should mine scrypt or scrypt-n/

Thanks for any advice Smiley

jaybee,

Basically the PandaCoin crash is not a "technical" crash... rather it's the coin itself "imploded" because the founders and developers starts to dump their premined coins and pointing fingers at each other.... Did some reading on their forum, it was pretty ugly....  Unfortunately for me, I am stuck on port 3385 until Monday because I am out on biz trip....  Kind of a "black humor" on myself watching the circus act on their forum while my mining rig faithfully and relentlessly mining the coin that basically has been declared dead....

To also address your issue with vertminer, If you have 700k on 270x and all HW error, very likely you forgot to change the "scrypt" to "nscrypt"...  you should look into the readme in vertminer.... When properly setup to n-scrypt, your 270x shouldn't output more than 300kh/s...  and you shouldn't worry, because it will apply to EVERYONE mining n-scrypt...

Back to Pandacoin....  despite the recent jaw-dropping development of events, kind of amazing that it's still maintaining the current "score" and not completely dead yet....  On the other hand, strange that VTC is in the same range score wise... Anybody with insights there?

@jaybee3014,

basically, scryptn is the superset of scrypt with variable n, while classical scrypt coins has N constant equals 10.  Currently and up to 2016 vtc will have N = 11.  So the calculations are more complex, so you will have currently around half of your usual LTC hashrate.

On 270x I was able to get up to 225 Kh/s for scryptn and that is reported by some other users too as its upper limit.  But this is only on intensity 20 that makes a lot of HW errors.  So, currently I mine on intensity 18 that reduces my hashrate to 215 Kh/s but reduces HW errors from  115/day to 20/day.

Hey, can you reply back your exact config you have that enabled you to get to 215Kh/s?  Thx.

Merc, how does the auto exchange function work exactly ? You do it manually, right ? Do you wait for a coin to increase in value some times or do you just dump ?

Also, Scrypt N is crap right now, profitablity wise. Could you warn us on your homepage or maybe here if this turns around, so we can switch between your Scrypt and Scrypt N multiport ?

Thanks in advance, I love TMB so far.

jaybee, Scrypt N uses a very different algorithm that does indeed result in less then half your normal hashrate. Scrypt N makes up with that by being more profitable.

Until today that is, hehe.

Hard to say when profit will return, impossible to predict. I have a feeling then next Scrypt N coin will be a big hit initially though.
