Hey merc, do you have any overall exchanged BTC per MHash numbers you can share?  I'm curious how the average rates have been since the autoexchange went live...
He writes at https://pool.trademybit.com/
"....Overal today should have been 0.012-0.013..."
That's interesting because I can see trademybit mostly mines doges and I'm mining them directly at another pools and never got more than 0.0099
May be I should consider returning back here and try to mine with you guys since you have better results...

My hash rate is averaging about 1100k on two asus 290x dcu2. I know, it's very disappointing. I was able to get the hash rate up to about 1300k, but I wasn't comfortable with the temps. I haven't heard about anyone having good mining results with these cards. But to ease the pain, I keep telling myself I bought them for gaming, not mining.

i have two of these asus cards sitting new in the box, and am hesitant to open them... there is very little information to be found on their hash rates (they're very new), but the info that i do see is not positive... everything i find has people complaining that they can't pull more then 600+ out of these, which is extremely disappointing for a 290x...

please let me know if you were able to tweak these to the "normal" 290x speed of 900+...

Hey zhulic, sorry I'm just now responding. I've been busy with work. The best I can get out of these cards is just over 600k each. I haven't given up, but I'm not to optimistic. Still, I'm keeping the cards because this is primarily a gaming rig and they are very good at that. If you purchased these for mining, you may see about exchanging them.

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!
I was off doing some solo mining for a week or so and on return..

im getting stratum connection interrupted..

Disconnecting stratum connection..
stratum_recv_line failed

EDIT!!: The one that is giving me the disconnects and connection interrupted is running cudaminer not cgminer!

On my miners running cgiminer my backup pool was stratum+tcp://pool.trademybit.com:3330

is that ok or should i change to the eu for backup.. ? ..
ill just swap to the eu servers as backup unless i here otherwise..

Thanks for the hard work merc

Merc - also...is there any plan to alleviate this problem of the stratum disconnects when switching coins?  I noticed that my average hashrates at trademybit are a chunk lower than at other profit-switching pools that don't seem to disconnect when switching (I'm assuming this is why the average hashrate is lower at TMB).

I have a couple of questions: I regularly see rejected shares with the message STALE Previous Job or something similar it looks like a bug what is that? Second thing is disconnect issues on eu proxy whats happening there?

edit: I just noticed a lot "connection interrupted" messages but no coin change. Usually happens just before the pool diff changes but not always.

hi guys

ive got 2 of these errors now in my auto exchange page

error_marked_compl -   FLO

what does this mean?

From another reply that Merc made:  that status just means there was an error with the exchange.

It usually is fixed before next payout.

many thanks Smiley

i'd like to try this pool out, but it says registrations are currently closed...

any idea on when they'll be open again ?

I read somewhere in this topic that Merc aimed for about 1GHs of hashing power. He probably made his goal. Not sure if this is why new signups are closed though.

Doing a good job there, Merc. I really like the setup and transperancy of your project; thanks!

Introducing, "Shared Mining"

https://pool.trademybit.com/faq/#sharedmining

Shared Mining lets us mine DOGE (and eventually other higher difficulty coins) with our limited hash rate. Since we plan to grow no larger than 1ghash, this was paramount to our profitability!

What is it? Shared Mining is a process we developed (with coordination from multipool.us) to allow us to mine on multipool's doge port when doge is the most profitable coin, using our pools hash rate. Payouts work as normal for us, but instead of paid on blocks, it's paid based on the payouts we get from Multipool.

Why would you want to mine with us instead of Multipool? Well, you know that's your choice. Flound is an outstanding guy, and Multipool is top-notch.. I highly suggest checking them out. But what we offer is the ability to mine the low-difficulty fringe coins when their the most profitable, and now we can also mine the higher-difficulty stable coins and receive consistent payouts.

The round estimates and other information for DOGE haven't been updated on the website yet, but I plan to offer as much transparency as possible with this process (as I try to do with everything we do at TradeMyBit).

Thanks!

Really excellent job. Merc, you are cool  Cool

Hi Merc, is MEOW stable enough to be added to the multiport? I find it's quit profitable right now, and hashco mines it all the time.
