I have uploaded the Miners Wallet (off official site) block and index files
which can be downloaded and installed to make things much faster. (syncing)
NYC MINERS WALLET BLOCK/INDEX (Wallet from official NYC site)

Intall wallet from offical NYC site.
Follow instructions for creating and placing .conf file in NYC directory (AppData)
Close NYC wallet.
Download blkindex.zip and extract 2 files, block and index into your NYC wallet directory (AppData) allowing to overwrite origianal files.
Once completed open NYC wallet and allow to finalize sync to date.
Should only take you a few hours instead of days to sync.
Let us know how it worked out.
I added both the files to the newyorkc folder ( blk0001.dat and blkindex.dat ) but my newyorkc wallet wont even open it says this

NYC/BTC volume suddenly jumping up to 19,000 from less than 10,000, which was much lower than that of NYC/USD early today.
It is funny that people would rather buy from higher price of NYC/BTC , than from the much cheaper price of NYC/USD !!??

There have been the answers to all the wallet problems. Please check back to the previous pages of this forum. Once again I tell you, the alert message (for the mining version) doesn't affect your coins and wallet, just ignore it， or you can use another version without this message which somebody else has mentioned. I deleted the wallet on my laptop and tried to download on my desktop and it's just not going through at all. It gave me an error of "not enough resources to download" which is the oddest error message besides the strange virus alert messages. I was able to attempt an exception but it keeps being removed from my desktop no matter what.
So I went back to download on my laptop but I'm getting that error message again of : URGENT: ALERT KEY COMPROMISED, UPGRADE REQUIRED.
I wonder was the update going to create a fork some few years back and that's why you guys reverted to the old wallet instead of upgrading to the new?
I actually like the fact that this wallet has an actual "mining" button built right in like the old btc wallet used to but with a laptop and a graphics card that's what hp 6200 or something that's not going to actually get anything. I'm not exactly sure what the difficulty level is for this coin.
Yeah that alert pops off every 1.5 mins as it did it twice while I was writing this.
Is there any way to get listed on bittrex?
Also can someone posts the stores that are actually accepting NYC coin right now?

Mess. Y'all said we'd have NYC on Coinomi in December, not January. I have nearly 9 million NYC sitting on YoBit, really need this Coinomi wallet update to happen soon.
I would love to have in my hands now also, but we are going to have and wait until the
Coinomi devs finish their work. I am sure Christmas holidays have effected the timeline a bit.
