No one really contacted me for RMA as far I can tell. After about a month now, I'm still waiting for the Engineer Team's feedback, after customer service department redirects me there -- I followed the instructions like firmly press all boards down, make sure all connectors are secured, and upgraded to specific version of firmware, and the server is located in a room with AC, temp range around 70F/20C, no luck, still no full 1TH/s speed. So my miner was running over a month under normal hashrate -- it dropped again from even 850Mh/s and even hit 500Gh/s soemtimes (to be fair, average out, it may be around 700Gh/s), and more and more "xxxxx" shows up while one fan (#4) has way higher speed than others. I understand you guys have very busy schedule and try to be understandable and patient as much as I can.
Until this weekend -- when I check the hashrate again, it dropped to 0 -- I noticed that since fan became quiet for the first time. When I check my online hashrate, it is not really 0 Gh/s, it is about 62Mh/s (60 min average from slush's pool). I then reboot the server via web interface, and this time, it shows 0, and no statistics at all, all sections in the miner status page is just blank with no data for each board at all. Then I have no choice but shutdown the server and go with cold reboot via power on/off button, and this time, it even worse, the box cannot even operate. I cannot even connect to the web interface, cannot ping the IP address (static ip) -- I tested the Ethernet line with my laptop, it is working, so no connection issue at all. I repeated the normal troubleshoot tricks like open box and press boards, etc, not work at all. When I power on, I can hear the fan running, and that's it, not really start hashing -- web interface not available, it seems that the Linux os messed up and not even init the ethernet.
So basically, the box is completely dead now, and I do need your help to get further troubleshoot tips or go with RMA solutions.
Need to report S2 1TH/S Batch 3 hardware issue here. My first ASIC miner purchase, and you guys had such big name here. It seems that I can never make the gap between Batch 3 and Batch 4 given current hardware issue... :-). My order id is 00120140427064424805kx9d0G7b0686, placed on Apr 27, you can confirm that.
To be honest, I am very impressed by your fast shipping rate!
- LCD panel not working
- Never reached 1Th/S, started around 992Mh/S, then displayed "x" errors after 2 hours. Reboot won't solve it. Over time, more "------------" or "xxx---xx-x" shows up, hashrate constantly dropped as low as about 850Mh/s.
