Bit-Pay was indeed under a DDoS attack, but the problem has been mitigated now and payment should be working through Bit-Pay now.

A testament to how many units they're still selling for bitcoins? But it's a problem for people, hopefully the attack stops soon; the better question though is who and why is there an attack?

Sure we'll hear plenty once they're out, but who wants to wait??I had preordered a FPGA single way back when, and had the order converted to ASICs (as I didn't want to spend another $600 to upgrade to the SC Single). But even for those who haven't ordered yet I'm sure having even ballpark information could be good for business. I understand that, at the moment, the best they have is simulations and extremely vague information from the fab company, but I'd still like to know what they know. Just tell us with what level of certainty the information comes with. "Our simulations guess about 1.26W power draw at full speed, it'll make your coffee two degrees above room temperature without plugging in the extra power cord. +- X% specs" Sort of thing.
