I think BFL is taking awfully long in responding to this mess.

Maybe it's like pirate?

Me too. I don't care about the past mistakes, I too made mistakes in life that I regretted and learned from.

I think his only regret is getting caught Tongue

But this is the post where it is admitted that the head of BFL is a convicted felon:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1202784

"Sonny" (the convicted programmer, under probe now) is not the same as "Chris" (who registered BFL in Wyoming),
so why are you writing "head of BFL is"?

Sonny = Chris

https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/radDocs/PressRoom/nr110114.htm

Quote
Sonny Chris Vleisides, 39, previously of Kansas City, MO was arrested in 2007 and held two years in Italy before he was extradited to the United States. Vleisides was sentenced to 14 months in prison followed by three years supervised release after pleading to one count of mail fraud.

Bit-Pay was indeed under a DDoS attack, but the problem has been mitigated now and payment should be working through Bit-Pay now.

Figures I find this post 5 minutes after I post about the same thing.  I'm having the same issue as everyone else I guess...Rats!
A testament to how many units they're still selling for bitcoins? But it's a problem for people, hopefully the attack stops soon; the better question though is who and why is there an attack?

Is there a problem with the BFL SC preorder process?

after submitting the orderform, there dont appear the BTC paymentprocessor site.

With IE it jumps to the October-Production-site.
With chrome a Array/ Json ( JSON createInvoice response url: )error appears,

any idea?
I think they are using BitPay as a payment processor and they have some problems - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitpaycom-is-online-110028
I'm almost certain they were/are using bitpay which has generally worked quite well. TL;DR from the other thread (it really isn't long if you care to read) They're being DDOSed and are currently shut down until they can sort it out. All their funds and private information are accounted for the only issue is availability of the website.

I'm having the issue.  I sent an email a few days ago about it but I have not heard anything back.

You might want to send this to BFL_Josh and let him know here on the forum.  Maybe toss in a screen shot.  Just an idea.

I'm sure we'll hear something in a few more weeks, whats the hurry?? You buying Huh?
Sure we'll hear plenty once they're out, but who wants to wait?

I had preordered a FPGA single way back when, and had the order converted to ASICs (as I didn't want to spend another $600 to upgrade to the SC Single). But even for those who haven't ordered yet I'm sure having even ballpark information could be good for business. I understand that, at the moment, the best they have is simulations and extremely vague information from the fab company, but I'd still like to know what they know. Just tell us with what level of certainty the information comes with. "Our simulations guess about 1.26W power draw at full speed, it'll make your coffee two degrees above room temperature without plugging in the extra power cord. +- X% specs" Sort of thing.
