We are finishing PCB production this week, and will hopefully start shipping next. Really wanted to get these out in November but supply chain issues once again put a damper on that (PCBs we’re stuck for weeks trying to get a flight).

Should still have the majority of orders placed on the Aug 31st out by end of the year, and the rest the first few weeks of January.

Curious if anyone has received their units yet and how it’s going. I’m “patiently” waiting for mine. C’mon Santa!

Any update on when these bad boys will be shipping out to customers? I thought last I heard it was November so I’m just curious if we’re getting close or if I misunderstood something. Really hoping to have these up and running before the end of the year. It’s starting to get cold outside so it’s either this or the fireplace. Would rather stack sats then burn wood.  Smiley
According to the email we got today
“Currently we are still on track to ship everyone's order that ordered on the 31st of August in December, and we expect most orders will ship by end of the year. Some orders placed at the tail end of the Pre-Order might slip into January, but we will update everyone again once production starts at the end of this month.“

Why would running Apollo full node not work out? Internet run out or what?  Cheesy

the grandson kept messing with it so my daughter-in-law unplugged and put on top of fridge. they have small apartment and no where to keep it safe

I have two full package Apollos and would like to know how I can disable the controller in one so I can control both with one HDMI monitor, keyboard. etc...

Thanks

You can just remove the harness cable from the hashboard, then plug that unit via USB to your other unit. Thats a waste of a full node though...

Is batch 2 still shipping?   Ive had an order pending according to FedEx tracking for over a week.

Any Batch 2 units left to ship will be out by end of this week. We shut down the line early last week to give our workers a longer break for labor day.

Thats looking after your employees. Nice to see.

We are creating a new platform for everyone on a revolutionary monetary system. Whats the point if we dont change everything bottom up?

FYI looks like well be wrapping up Batch 3 pre-order in the next week or so, so if anyone who has not wants to get in this Batch I would place an order soon.

I’m surprised they stayed in stock for so long. I guess home miners aren’t much of a thing anymore and the ones left aren’t letting their BTC leave their hands… I’m looking forward to giving these miners a shot. It’s been a while since I’ve bought anything other than Bitmain hardware, so hopefully it’s a nice surprise. Awaiting batch 3 shipping news…

We were able to expand production significantly this run, so were just keeping order books open for as long as possible. This is a good way for us to gauge real demand as well since the small batches sold out instantly last rounds.

Were the limited "in stock" units that showed up on the site when you canceled the flipper orders counted as batch 2 or batch 3?

Is there an ETA already? I mean something more detailed other than "Q4"? And info on whether there are any delays or so which might push delivery past December?

All components are already on order, but the IC situation is getting ridiculous. We’ve had parts get delayed for months and have to scramble to buy stock on secondary markets (where we get price gouged 10x).

Things are very fluid and even more so as we increase our production capacity. We were late by about a month for the first two batches so don’t want to put in unrealistic expectations this round. With that being said we *should* be able to start shipping in November.

Even Apple is getting affected by this…the fact that we can produce anything with less than a year leadtime at this point is a miracle (and lots of fucking work).

Thanks for your updates John, its much appreciated for those of us that have followed you for quite some time.  Having said that I have to raise an issue with your outgoing email regarding the announcement of Batch 3.  I'm not a big investor, I have excretionary funds available once in a while, but being told that I can't order a unit because I may have ordered one from the last batch is completely and arbitrarily stupid.
If I want to buy one I will.  If I can afford to buy one I will.  Not everyone can and I understand that but -- and here's the big problem-- WHEN YOU ANNOUNCE THE NEW UNIT ON THE FORUM ITS THE FORUM MEMBERS THAT ARE GOING TO ORDER IT.  All of us are big supporters and will continue to be so and as a result will continue to buy what you put out.  Stop telling us that we can't order again because we've purchased in the past.  What are you trying to do?  Limiting orders is limiting your profit and production.   If there is such a huge call for what you make then perhaps its time to consider raising the price to make them a premium.  As it is your products are being sold after the fact on e-Bay for four times what they originally sold for.  Doesn't that tell you something?  Stop thinking small time and get going on what you are good at.  We will continue to support you, that's not a question its a fact.  You are the seemingly only bright light in this chaos of shit products and shady companies.  Do more and get better suppliers as you go, its a no brainer from my end but then....... what the fuck do I know.

I highly suggest that any other forum members that are willing to show their support do so by sending a message and making sure this "shortage of supply" and "having to pre-order" doesn't continue for much longer.  Anyone??  Anyone else want to chime in?

That was mostly to give people that have been trying to order a unit for months the ability to do so without competing with customers that have already purchased one. We sold out within a day the first two Batches so many people lost out on both Batches. Obviously we are not limiting ourselves on purpose, we are supply constrained so in this environment id rather units go to new people that want one than the same people  buying them (and selling them on ebay as you mentioned to price gouge buyers).

The IC shortage is putting a huge dent in scaling plans, we have had to change designs/vendors/parts multiple times and you cant just place an order for 100k units in this environment.

With that being said at this point if you want to place another order go ahead. Everyone that wanted one has had plenty of time to place an order since tuesday. Only people we are actively blocking are the ones trying to place mutiple orders for 20 units and these guys are obvious scalpers which I will not tolerate.

If everyone would go ahead and wait a few minutes after the batch three release before they place their orders so that I can make sure to get my orders in, I’d appreciate it a great deal. Thanks!

From the email it did sound like they’ll have enough stock for a few days of orders… We’ll see.

Yes, let us know once you ordered:)

OK, you're good to go ahead and place an order now.  Thanks for waiting.  I really appreciate your cooperation.  Ordering process was smooth and easy.  I'll be waiting to receive my unit and give one of these little guys a job helping to heat my house this winter.  Good luck to everyone else snatching these things up this morning.  Smiley

Thank you! Ordered my too:)

Just curious from what ## batch 3 orders started?

not your keys, not your coins!
I understand you point and agree with most of it.  My point was more toward getting the production numbers substantially increased to not only get them into more hands but to get rid of the buying restrictions already being put in place.
That would be great indeed! Supply for any kind of miner (home oriented or also commercial) is much lower than demand. I think every developer of such a device would try to push out more devices but it most probably has to do with global IC shortages.
