What is the method used to figure out your share of BTC doing SHA mining?

17001 is the port for the Scrypt algorithm and switches to the most profitable coin. Set your auto exchange coin in MiningPoolHub to GameCredits for that to work. If you mine at NiceHash, set you speed slow and mine for hours/days.

I'm not sure what your aim is here but, if you just want GameCredits, I recommend that you go buy them because if you are messing with NiceHash then you will most likely lose money.

I don't really want GameCredits, I have my autoswitch coin set to Bitcoin. I was just trying mine via scrypt and try some things out. GAME was what the Scypt algo switching was currently mining.

I was just trying to figure out why I don't seem to get any coins out of it even though I constantly mined (slowly) for 10 hours.

I know I'm most likely going to lose money. I've read enough to know that. I just like the challenge and learning how it works, so I'm trying different things. You say to go slow and mine for a long time. Has anyone tried setting the price really low and taking short bursts? Has that worked for anyone? (Don't want to hijack this thread for something I probably should post on nicehash thread, I'm more interested in why my coins haven't shown up).

If you are seeing a hashrate on the dashboard and shares then coins will appear. If the price drops then bursts are worth the risk but otherwise aim to keep getting regular shares. You can increase/decrease the speed at NiceHash with non-fixed orders which is better than stopping and starting but is not instant so don't increase the speed too high.

I've rented some scrypt hash power at nicehash, pointed it to mining pool hub at stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17001, and turned it loose with a worker whose "job" is "Scrypt". I tested the worker setup at nicehash and it was all good. Mining pool hub says it's currently mining gamecredits on Scrypt at 17001, but I have no coins at all in gamecredits after 10 hours.

There's no errors on the nicehash side. Under the gamecredits dashboard it shows .02 share/sec with Your Valid   10,870,308.6511
Your Invalid   52,919.9375 (0.48%) under round shares.

It seems like it's all connected but no coins are showing up in mining pool hub. What's wrong?

I saw this table at miningpoolhub
Code:
Equihash Zcash 17023 6,362.14238 703.63K 2
Cryptonight Monero 17024 1,732.88262 2.45M 1
Yescrypt Myriadcoin-Yescrypt 17021 78.42032 133.00K 2
NeoScrypt Feathercoin 17012 1.76224 309.16M 3
Lyra2z Zcoin 17025 1.54223 13.59G 1
Ethash Ethereum 17020 0.06424 1.67T 3
Lyra2RE2 Vertcoin 17018 0.05724 3.86G 1
Scrypt Gamecredits 17001 0.05640 567.43M 4
Qubit Digibyte-Qubit 17014 0.05438 6.40G 2
Groestl Groestlcoin 17004 0.04902 380.95M 1
Myriad-Groestl Myriadcoin-Groestl 17005 0.04031 2.23G 2
X11 Dash 17007 0.02006 706.00G 8
Skein Digibyte-Skein 17016 0.00890 29.66G 2
Sia Siacoin 17022 0.00057 2.32T 1
Keccak Maxcoin 17003 - 2.85G 1

So equihash is 6362
and ethash is .064

I think that's why miningpoolminer uses ethash

However, when ratio between hash between ethash and equihash is 30Mh/s per 300h/s so that means 100k times, whattomine would recommend equihash right now

Oh no. Still ethash. Hmmmm... Musiccoin though. Zclassic is not avaialable either in miningpoolhub.

Groestl is on top again.

Hmm your miner selection is correct then. Nvm.

Whattomine shows list sorted by average profitability for last 24 hours. But miningpoolhub shows sorted by realtime, current profitability.
I sometimes check whattomine and find myself confused by this little difference.

You sure? Whattomine display 4 numbers. Current, last 24 hours, 3 days and 7 days I think. I always select current. I sorted by current

Hi everyone Smiley

I mined Ethereum. I set Auto Exchange to Bitcoin. For last two weeks everything working great. But on 2017-04-15 some of mined coins (0.15 ETH) get stuck in column "On Exchange", and after three days, this coins are still there.

In the past, coins was exchange to Bitcoin in approx. 6 hours. What's wrong?

Best regards,
Shymmy

P.S. I'm sorry for my poor English Smiley

Ok I am confused. I am using  MultiPoolMiner

I want to use MPH as I am tired of switching between Zclassic, Zcash. But by default, my miners point to port 17023. Not 12xxx.

So what is the difference between the 3 ports:

europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12023
europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17023
europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20575

Do I need to change anything? If so where do I change it.

Ok, just after posting I found out that each pool has its own stats. So no unified stats pages showing each worker and which pool/coin there mining to.

Hi. I am new on MPH. I can't seem to see my workers stats.

I was expecting them to be under Hub Workers but nothing is there. I do get bitcoin into my balances so I assume I am mining correct.

I have 4 workers. each using the MultiPoolMiner
All 4 are mining now using Claymore miners. some are Zcash other are Eth.

europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17023
europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17020

Each worker has their own workername and I am using my username for login.  "-username Etherion -workername ws10"

They show under https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=account&action=hubworkers

I have added them and updated but nothing. Also deleted them and waited a few min.

Where do one see stats on my account?

I noticed something strange

I set this link to easily know how much BTC/GHday each algorithm worths

http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/?sha256hr=1.00&sha256p=2600.00&sha256pc=0.1000&sha256c=true&scrypthr=1000000.00&scryptp=1000.00&scryptpc=0.1000&scryptc=true&x11hr=1000.00&x11p=120.00&x11pc=0.1000&x11c=true&keccakhr=1000.00&keccakp=600.00&keccakpc=0.1000&keccakc=true&quarkhr=1000000.00&quarkp=75.00&quarkpc=0.1000&quarkc=true&groestlhr=1000.00&groestlp=825.00&groestlpc=0.1000&groestlc=true&blake256hr=1.00&blake256p=600.00&blake256pc=0.1000&blake256c=true&neoscrypthr=1000000.00&neoscryptp=400.00&neoscryptpc=0.1000&neoscryptc=true&lyra2rev2hr=1000.00&lyra2rev2p=600.00&lyra2rev2pc=0.1000&lyra2rev2c=true&cryptonighthr=1000000000.00&cryptonightp=600.00&cryptonightpc=0.1000&cryptonightc=trueðashhr=1000.00ðashp=600.00ðashpc=0.1000ðashc=true&equihashhr=1000000000.00&equihashp=600.00&equihashpc=0.1000&equihashc=true&e=CEX.io

Both whattomine and cryptocurrency suggest around 4914 BTC/GH/second day

So if you have a miner that does 1 Ghash/second and run it for a day you make 4914

Numbers in miningpoolhub is
4597

Hmmmm.....

Can anyone show me the math how to get that number?

The number in whattomine is closer to the number in cryptocurrency

Just go to whattomine and select RX480 as your card. That means 290h/s. If you have 1 Gh/s you would make 10^9/290*0.00142btc = 4896 btc

Hmmm in whattomine there is a column Rev. BTC Rev. 24h

Stats on MiningPoolHub home page are what the pool is paying; MiningPoolHub could explain it but I don't think it's that important. I'm sure that he has checked them and explained it before; it's to do with difficulties, exchange rate and pool luck etc.

He said that the number doesn't depend on Pool Luck at all.

Miningpoolhub's stats reflect "overall total block finding percent" which is often referred as "pool luck".
It's coin's real block generation stats based on their block time and network, algo spec.

Pool doesn't predict like "new coin will be found shortly because pool found many blocks these hours".
This is luck thing that pool doesn't even care about.

Hello,

How much time does a Zclassic payout take approx. ?

I'm kinda new to the crypto world  Grin

Also, how can you see the pending payouts on the website?

Thanks !

Hmm.
There's two things to think.

1. block confirmations.
2. coin transfer

Newly mined coins need confirmation which may need 1~2 hours. It depends because block is not generated at exact expected time.
Coin transfer to exchange site (or to your local wallet) would need less than 1 hour after payout.

I'm just posting to mention my continued interest in seeing DCR on MPH edit: went back a few pages and I see it is still planned.

I am also wondering if MPH will be launching a Zencash pool once ZCL does their Zencash split?

IMO I'd probably like to see a Zen pool made on the fork day ready to go and than DCR added any time after ZCL since I am 100% in ZCL for the time being. It would be nice to put some cards onto the news pools soon as they are up and be an early bird to building up the shares

I have plan to open zen pool but can't guarantee at this moment because zen coin is not yet prepared.
I'll test this new coin when source is ready.
