What the mother fuck?!

0.045+ BTC gone.

I assume that HC won't do anything about refunding people??

Such a sad state. First the horrible payouts and connection issues, and now they allow everyone to be compromised and have their shit stolen. A lot of good that 4 digit pin for payouts did huh?

I was already moved off of HC due to the other issues and now this? Yeah. Safe to say i can never trust this pool again...

Well to be honest you really can't trust the majority of pools. Its not like we know the backgrounds of the people running this.

I assume that a lot of sites are rife with security issues. Doesn't stop me from mining of course, but I am wary of it all.

There's been a breach this afternoon with a number of users reporting payout addresses being changed and manual payouts being triggered to the new address.   All payouts have been disabled and we are working on determining the scope of the issue.  While its unlikely passwords have been compromised (and nothing is stored plain text in the db anyways), its not a bad practice to assume the worst and change passwords anyways.

40.8 total BTC has been lost.  We can't really comment much further on account statuses until we gather data on the full picture.  Obviously with the time of year, we all have commitments outside, but we are working every spare moment we've got.

I advise people to stop by the irc channel if possible, where live discussions can happen and up to date news provided.

The cows apologize to everyone involved, its a terrible time of year to wake up to such things.  There will be 0% fees on anything earned as of now and today's btc earned (keeping in mind payout is disabled for the time being).

My address was changed as well to the 13R87... address.  Changed back. Hope they put a hold on auto payouts while they figure this mess out.

They also stole me!! The thief send all my bitcoins to this address 13R87ropkDKzDEuVeQoX64kkcLvPWVdTKH --> This is the thief address, not mine. I'm very angry, because it was only around 0.002, but it was 1 full month mining! Maybe is a security error on the web, because I'm not the only one with this problem. Please, you would be so kind if you refund me Smiley

Add KIT or Kittehcoin to the list. Could turn out like DOGE and earn us some good payouts.

According to the IRC channel everyone's auto payout has been changed to 13R87ropkDKzDEuVeQoX64kkcLvPWVdTKH.

Go disable autopayments, and change your address back!

Same with mine. Changed to that address. Not a good look hashco.ws...better learn to lock down your website...

+1 over here. Tight ship you're running, cows...

The struggle is real, worst payout in a long time
I got the following for 22 and 23 dec.

NameDec 22Dec 23
Hashcows0.025423670.01824516
Middlecoin0.012743900.03035288

This is with Load Balanced between Middlecoin and Hashcows.
MIddlecoin was started at 9am est on 22 so normally it is a bit lower at start.
With the problem over the weekend, I have seen that a good amount of my shares has not been counted.  Lots of 0 BTC on the board.
Guys, please investigate and fix.

Now to reflash the bios on my dreadful xfx card, see if I can't squeeze 'er some more. Really grateful for advice

Most xfx are voltage locked. Why are you flashing it?

Because I'm dense beyond belief and in way over my head, and don't think it's a voltage issue, but don't have a clue. And leading on from this ...

Other / Alternate cryptocurrencies / rubbish new gpu, rubbish old wetware, broke the software    on: December 21, 2013, 09:11:49 AM
xfx r7970 - fx - 797A - TDFC
hashing now on Bitminter client ~ 510 M/hs
was hashing yesterday on cgminer scrypt ~ 400 k/hs

This has helped me a lot :

https://litecointalk.org/index.php/topic,2963.0.html

From 450 Kh/s up to 750 Kh/s.

Happy hunting !!

... which is about reflashing Sapphire brand 7970 to Gigabyte bios

... I found threads on litecointalk about setting up and reflashing my exact xfx: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=8984.msg66643#msg66643 and https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=9844.msg70653#msg70653

... now waiting for the last pci riser in the world to arrive to see if the reflash worked, as my xfx appears dead

Having some issues with cgminer and this pool.
When it swaps coin my hashrate drops on my 7950's from 620 to 580.
Its the same every time and in order to get back the hashrate I have to restart cgminer manually.
I'm also losing connection to stratum allot. Every time this happens my hashrate falls again, usually from 580 down to around 540(instantly back up to 620 when I restart cgminer).

I have no idea about a fix but I'm having issues too.  If we mine one coin for a long time like the 8+ hour's of WDC we just did I never reconnect after stratum disconnect to switch coins, doesn't even switch to failover.  I have to manually restart as well.

One of my VGA drops to 10% of hashrate occasionaly (mostly after restarting cgminer). You don´t have to reboot computer, but restart vga driver (or device itself) instead by using devcon command. VGA back in few secs, fresh as after reboot. For more info about it go here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff544807(v=vs.85).aspx

I should have specified, I have to manually restart cgminer not windows, cgminer just locks on stratum disconnect.  I guess it could very well be a cgminer issue but it only happens on really long rounds on hashcows, short rounds are fine.

ZOHEM | DECENTRALISED USER BEHAVIOUR DATA PROTOCOL
Hey Rail. Keep in mind that if you do switch to bamt you'll be losing a CHUNK of your profits due to not being able to set control over your graphic cards the way you can now. linux for some reason has problems trying to overclock and volt mod and the lower coin values go the more important that becomes to whether you make a profit or not.

Oh thanks MacT. Yeah looks like I can stay with windoze, I got cgminer working again. Yes every penny counts now more than ever my goodness. Now to reflash the bios on my dreadful xfx card, see if I can't squeeze 'er some more. Really grateful for advice

With the amount of hash this pool is throwing around I think the only choices for extended periods of mining are WDC and Doge right now. I don't get why the pool hasn't been on doge lately though considering that it has pretty decent buy support around its present prices.
