I believe that I and community need both clarification and explanation from PRiVCY team on what actually happened.

If you have been a supporter and part of the priv community then you would have been aware of the whole incidents that occurred which result to many supporters abandoning this project including some of the devs, you can always flip backwards in this thread and read all that went down the last couple of months ago, the accusations and arguments are all there, although i think there's plan to revive the project.

The only thing that will be different is that the wallet of dev that has been compromised will be frozen or burnt forever, this as such will reduce the total circulating supply of priv, who knows with less circulating supply price will bump a little bit.

you will be given enough notice before the fork. until the notice it is safe to buy or move your priv. this is not going to be a hard fork so your coins will stay the same

Every purchase of PRiV is safe. You can keep the coins on the exchanges or transfer them with calm on the wallets before the fork. Trading deposits and withdrawals all work regularly. The only recommendation that the team has made is to not make deposits and withdrawals, or send and receive coins while the fork will be in place. But before this happens, we will read further messages from the Team that will indicate exactly the block where the fork will be made. These further messages will be issued well in advance so that there are no risks for anyone.

Yes, a new DEV was found, some buys allready happened on Crex24, good for PRiVCY, they put a lot of work so far in their project. I'm holding PRiVCY so hoping the fork will happen and things move forward.

Yeah it's very important that this happen within this period, some of the priv community members are still hanging around to see what will be next action to take, with this announcement, the future of priv is bright🌞, wonder what will be the ratio to swap, i will definitely follow all the upcoming update.
