Bug fixed. I just installed the new wallet, deleted peer.dat and entered


And now synced.

What was the cause of the bug?

Yes there is a problem impacting Windows users where you will find the wallet getting stuck at block 143707.

We have diagnosed the problem, corrected the code, created new binaries and fully tested everything to be in good working order.

This release contains the following bugfixes:

CRITICAL: Emergency fix for windows wallets stuck on block 143707
FIX: for issue #58 reported by Cryptohub exchange and fixed by FreeTrade.
FIX: encrypted wallet are now able to sign messages.
FIX: seeds list was adjusted.
Additional logging was added to troubleshoot issue #65

All windows users are advised to upgrade to v1.1.7 , a bug prevented windows wallets from syncing passed block 143707 . To resolve this issue you need to execute the following steps:

First upgrade to ROIcoin v1.1.7 ( simply use the new QT binary )
Delete the peers.dat in the %APPDATA%/Roaming/ROIcoin folder ( same folder as wallet.dat )
Start the wallet and go to the Debug console and type: (Do each command one at a time and then hit enter)

invalidateblock 0000005ab0b3f50e92b6803d3236b310d6db26930f52b3b010ed937685fb2ce4
reconsiderblock 0000005ab0b3f50e92b6803d3236b310d6db26930f52b3b010ed937685fb2ce4

You should now see your wallet sync to same height as the block explorer.

Note: you may need to do an additional restart to fully sync with the block explorer.

Is there a problem with the wallet? It says "no block source available" with 19 hours behind. There is no problem with my net other wallet working perfectly.

The price is unreasonably low (just around few sats now  ). can't imagine what will happen in the next year.

I've discovered this project 2 months ago. the price for now is too low, but I'm sure that it will rise in the next months.
recently they've added giveaway section to their discord channel which brought some fun to this project
currently term deposited my coins for 1 year.

ROI coin and many other coins have gotten away from bitcointalk and are more into using discord and telegram.

Don't get me wrong here bitcointalk is okay but the reality is this place is a massive haven for insane and brutal trolling with no way to block / ban / control anything...

You should consider hanging out with the community at discord

EDIT: Within no time after me posting this thread two people that have trolled this coin to death showed up trolling the thread.... rest my case I would call this more like hyper-trolling because they apparently must have notifications turned on so they can run over here and troll anytime any new post is made.... here again this is what is totally ruining bitcointalk IMHO.

Quick Updates:

Raster is working on the cluster adding new features and what not. Hopefully he will chime in and give us updates but keep in mind he is a very busy person

2nd Quarter roadmap tasks will be done ahead of schedule and the dev team is looking forward the the 3rd quarter items
