That would be a huge task implementing that and im not entirely sure it would be possible without looking deeper.
To be honest i'm all for asics, with kimotos we won't be left stuck when they first come in. Asics allow cheap, low power hashes helping support the growing network. I can't imagine bitcoin running to great without asics at its current size.
So i would be reluctant to agree to blocking them out.
