i have a noob question regarding the growth period.
i have mined about 6 seed coints and i see it growing.
i wanted to know that if i by more seed coins on bittrex. will they be growing as well?
I assume so. I'm a bit of a noob to all this too though.
I think they will stake 24 hours after you have them in your wallet.

Once you buy seeds and move them to your wallet, they have about 24 hours until they mature (are capable of staking). Once mature, they build weight in the network. Larger stacks of seeds build weight more quickly. A smaller stack (I had a stack of 5 seeds take about 32 hours to stake, and a stack of 0.3 seeds that has not yet staked in over36 hrs) takes longer to stake, because you are "waiting your turn" to stake. There is some chance to it, but with more weight you are more likely to stake. Once you do stake, your coin age determines what your stake reward will be in addition to the stake % (269%). My stack of 5 seeds gave me my 5 original + 15.5 in stake return (~310% stake because they had been gaining additional age).
At this point, buying very low amounts of seeds, you may only stake once or twice instead of the 3 or 4. During the growth phase and compounded returns, it is better to stake multiple times rather than building addition age, so better to have larger stacks of seeds (but keep in mind trying to move coins to make larger stacks resets age so should be done with care).
So keep that in mind.
