I personally see Shift finally developing a clearer path and am looking forward to the upcoming times.

It would be nice to see the original dev and take over dev work together. I could help out with some development for free but I am only interested in working with Ethereum 2.0 technology. From what I can tell it will be built with the programming languages "Scala", "MongoDB", and "RabbitMQ".

It's too soon to make any announcements, though we can tell that we have moved forward and found compromises between what community and dev want. The people behind the takeover (at least most of them) and the dev will unite their forces. Best of both scenarios.

Great to hear this project is moving in the right direction, will wait for the announcements.

I will be happy to confirm that the general overview of the story in slack is correct. I can't comment on specific numbers as I don't remember, the 20k I held was payment to me that I didn't withdraw until work was done. Sadly, due to personal commitments I can't continue to work with Shift but will be happy to chime in from time to time with my opinion.
