2 in this group and more time in between. I know what you said psionin, just pointing it out since it's a slightly different case here to show the inconsistency for future diagnosis if the switch doesn't fix it.

Thanks for the reply.

I suppose if the nodes had issued the block but didn't communicate with each other 100%, but that sounds like the beginning of a fork and the nodes are catching it just in time. I am not saying there IS a fork, the explorer is 100% ok other than that, in respect that we are all mining on the same block and the explorer reflects it. I found another instance of it just a few more blocks down the line. Might want to look into it.

Actually, there may have been a minor bug introduced when the block time was changed to 30 seconds during the first fork. I think that this parameter adjustment is being done more correctly now with the switch to 2 minute block time in the upcoming fork, and this issue should resolve itself.

This could explain why I'm not getting the amount of coins I (think) should be and why the diff changes so drastically from the KGW without any changes in net hashrate over periods like an hour. A "network-approved-mini-fork" would explain this hashrate/KGW behavior and why I don't get the small blocks too. I have 27MH solo, but I don't find any or rarely find blocks under 80k diff especially when they are all issued within the 1-2 minutes before we hit another 120K diff. I find a good portion of the blocks issued when it's 80k or higher. Weird.

wtf?

Thanks for your feedback. Blocks are added to the block explorer in the order they are received, and it's conceivable that there could have been a delay in one of the blocks as it was being broadcast throughout the network.

I have received the following reply from Bittrex after asking to have SMC added:
Quote
Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we mainly add coins due to community demand.

We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin.

Thanks,
Ryan @ Bittrex

Less than 3 days are left until the X11 fork, I hope everyone has updated! I'm not aware of any confirmation from Cryptsy at this time, but they have been contacted in multiple channels.

Anyone here who uses BitMessage I would appreciate it if you would contact Mining Pool Co. and let them know we are switching to X11.  Otherwise they may end up on the wrong fork.  Direct them to this thread.  Here is their contact info:

Wow this blue color is actually really, but really good, at least for me. I like the white/grey logo that is official, but damn this blue just adds "something".
Maybe just space R and T a little bit further from each other so they don't touch, just like other letters don't touch, don't know why this bugs me lol.

like this? Smiley http://i.cubeupload.com/gPOHHv.png

Yes! R and T not touching anymore, I know it's a small detail but it looks way better to me now Smiley

Good News from the Dev ! .... all we really need is a liaison between the community and the Developer... someone to articulate the views of the community and tie them with the views of the Dev with the end result being a dynamic updated plan of action for the future. We may only update it once a week or so..it doesnt have to be in detail and we may NOT be able to use exact future dates but at least the community and potential investors will have an idea of where the Dev and the community want to take SmartCoin over the short, medium and long term.

How about a discussion among the community about what/where we want SMC to go ... Im sure the Dev would contribute as well ??

psio what do you think about the blue version of the logo?

I don't think it is a significant enough of an advancement in the graphics to warrant making a change. However, if somebody prefers to use on in their own SMC related website, that would be fine.
No offense but the current darker logo looks like sh**. Use the blue or the old lighter one. The darker version looks like it was made in MS paint.

With less than 25 million Max coins this should be an easy 10 Fold without any other factors.

What a steal at the current price.

Congrats to the dev for doing this update so quickly.

When is this new, lower subsidy code update going live?

Are we still looking at August?

I hope we can cut the inflation before the next crypto boom which I think will happen very soon (July-August).

Cheers!

It's live now, check out the announcement section of the first post for more details.

Wow man, BRAVO!!!

This should have a significant effect on the price. Especially when new demand comes in [very soon].
