The dips in the very beginning are me working on some of my miners, the long high section after that is my normal everything working rate, the next low section was when a miner crashed in the night.  The very last dip with the arrow over it is what I am referring to.  Everything should have been mining as normal right there and indeed when I looked at the miners they were hashing at a normal rate and submitting shares.  For what it is worth the entire pool hash rate for CGB was reporting way low on the website (got down to 1.3 Mhs from a normal closer to 100 Mhs) at the same time this was happening.

I have multiple miners all on this same account.

My hashrate on CGB is massively underreporting for the last 20 minutes.  I realize its just calculating it based on how many shares I submit but it's way off, not just variance off, more like something looks broken off.  I verified my miners are up and submitting shares.

Can you post a screenshot of your miner and a copy of your config?

Custom diff is now enabled across all Scrypt coins on all pools.  In addition, I have made several stability and performance enhancements to our custom version of Stratum that should help with the efficiency.

I will be removing pool2.us in the near future and pointing its DNS at pool1.  I am also considering bringing up a couple more US pool servers, possibly on the East coast.

Had a typo in the cgminer username that I was trying to mine with, and it says I am locked out of the multipool web site from too many failed attempts. How can that be if I had the username on the client wrong, how would it know who to lock out? It's cleared itself now, but for two days it was telling me to contact support!

Coincidence, the pools and frontend do not know about each other's failed attempts.  Perhaps someone was trying to login to your account.

Is there a way to see lifetime hashes or lifetime uptime? I'm trying to figure out the overall efficiency of my miners and it's difficult because stats are broken apart by coin.

Yes.. if you use cgminer add 2> NAME.txt at the end of your command line or .bat file and save a txt of all that your miner is doing. Kee pyour own stats and don't rely on online stats that are usually off because of delays/db or whatever.. have your own that are specific. I personally would restart daily use a new filename each time and can then see all.
Be well.

Cryptsy seems to be completely broken at the moment, so it might be a while before this gets sorted out.
Could be worse, lots of people have negative balances!
Yeah I have a couple of negative balances too. :/

I manually sent a NVC transaction around half an hour ago and it hasn't shown up in my Cryptsy wallet yet, not in confirmed or unconfirmed, and hasn't auto-sold either.

Can you check transactions for my account to see if it went through flound? My multipool name is the same name as here.

I'd appreciate it, and I know I sent it to the correct address, because I've used it before for Cryptsy deposits.

Never mind, the money is in the account. Time to complain to Cryptsy about this...

This is why I disabled auto-cashout and auto-sell. I need to keep an eye out to make sure the deposits actually go in.

Be careful when dealing with Cryptsy. This is at least the 3rd time now I've had to file a complaint about coins not showing up. Always keep an eye on your Cryptsy accounts and make sure your coins show up.

OK this is just bad. Pool stuck on FTC last 8 hours. DGC has been over 10 profitability for an hour. DGC pool hashrate 43 Mhz. I should be getting 35 coins per hour. After 1 hour I have credit for only 11 coins. Coinchoose is showing same profitablity. However, Conwarz is showing 1/3 of the profitability which i believe is the correct number. Bottom line: Multipool and Coinchoose are way off. Coinwarz is correct difficulty (which for me is about 11 coins per  hour).

There was a small glitch in the switching script that prevented it from running overnight.  The good news is we had higher than average profitability on FTC after the difficulty went up, so it was almost a wash.

DGC profitability is correct, so far as I can tell.  What likely happened was that our low hashrate got killed by the bigger players.

The minimum mining time never had anything to do with the scoring system, it was only to make sure we didn't switch too often.

Ok, but wouldn't be better to have a minimum difference instead of a minimum mining time. Let's say we start mining a coin that has a minimum mining time of 10 minutes but soon thereafter an other coin's profitability jumps up to triple the current coin's profitability. Wouldn't it be best to switch to that coin immediately instead of "wasting" 10 minutes on the lower profitability coin? A good example is MNC which sees significant peaks in profitability that last less than 10 minutes. Because of the minimum mining time, I think we might sometimes completely miss some of these peaks. Maybe you could combine a minimum mining time with a minimum difference. For example, stay on current coin a minimum 10 minutes unless another coin is more than 50% more profitable. After 10 minutes switch to the next most profitable coin only if 1-2% more profitable. This may actually reduce the amount of coin switching and increase total profitability.

-Just a suggestion-

By the way, your pool keeps getting more and more awesome!

Thanks Smiley  Without giving away too much, there are definitely times where it's more important to move than to stay on a coin for the minimum duration.  The script accounts for that.

Good to know, however I was watching the multipool one evening and saw it switch to WDC and soon after LKY jumped up to 10.8. It took about 10 minutes before the switch over to LKY. LKY is only profitable to mine every three-four days and only for about 20 minutes. If we don't jump onto it as soon as it becomes profitable then there isn't much point in having it on the multipool.

So I signed up just to thank flound for all his hard work on this pool.  I've been following this pool and been a member since its inception.  I constantly see people whining about not getting paid on litecoin when on the multipool cause we don't stick around long enough.  Would it not be a simple thing to just lock the multipool on the coin until we find a block, then carry on with our multipooling?  Same with NVC.  I'm perfectly content with following the pool around but this seems like a guarentee to get paid.  And also opens up the whining for why didn't we switch, coin 12398 was at 15% better profit.  You can't have both people.. Either accept what flounds done or go to another pool that doesn't give you the flexibility to mine what you want here.

You call it whining yet you offer a solution to the PROBLEM!! Stop contradicting yourself.

I cannot connect to ftc pool.

E: It is working now, but was down from around 6:30 AM. Yesterday same happened to dgc pool. Both EU.

Please make sure you have the US pool set as a backup if you are using the EU pool.
