MSI 270

so far looks promising

I m running bamt 1.6

would apritiate if someone can guide me how to add this miner to bamt.conf ,
at this moment i have to manually stop mining over bamt and manually start moded sgminer...

also noted that i m not having feedback of gpu temp and fan speed but .. but i can control it over 192.168.xxx.xxx/cgi-bin/status-man.pl Smiley
temps are normal around 59 and fan i locked at around 40% since it remmebers last fan settings before mine stop from bamt as it starts first...

thnx

lasybear: I've already added some my side, may be you also want to add some features on your sgminer fork:

https://github.com/nicehash/sph-sgminer/commits/master

I think that some about pool switching, idle and restart could be useful if anyone wants to use NiceHash Smiley

Btw, somebody needs to notify the main dev of sph-sgminer that it has a bug with in the gen_stratum_work function, it uses an uninitialized variable as an index that causes undefined behaviour. Whoever added that commit forgot to write the actual loop.

The official miner won't even start for me, the cool thing is the Remember remember the 5th of November's miner makes the desktop usable at I 15, at I 16 I have driver crash!
The miner is a fork of sph-sgminer with changes made by lasybear to work with the OpenCL kernel that was hidden in this sgminer by girino, which I extracted through a process called reverse engineering, which isn't exactly easy. I then compiled binaries for Windows and fixed a bug with an unitialized variable, so yeah, credit goes to the two of us, not just me.

I've done a 6 hour test of this versus the official sgminer 4.1.0-103

Results as follows:

New one: 3.1Mh/s shown on sgminer, pool shows 2.2Mh/s
Official: 2.1Mh/s shown on sgminer, pool shows 2.55Mh/s

Official version mines more coins.

Yes, I did block the port on my firewall to stop the donation to find out what this can actually do.

I think there has been some manipulation on sgminer display. DON'T BELIEVE IT.

You have been warned.

My results are a bit different:

How did u do the test?
Same rig 6 hours by 6 hours? In 6 hours lot of conditions could change...
Hashrate shown in the pool dashborad is not accurate.
What about the earnings?
Was it a prop-pay pool?

He is just trying to keep other people from using the miner even though he knows it works.  Some people are just like that.

yep and if you knew the whole truth about this x11 algo and early private gpu miner you'll start to puke
