The captcha is enough already for a faucet. I think it will not be neccessary to have a software or a captcha typing service for a faucet.

The captcha works goes like this, if you work captcha they pay you with the address you see on your wallet. That's the dev address. You can't have a downloadble software for that.
I totally agree with you he has no control of what the devs wants to implement on his system if the devs want a captcha typing or image typing we have no rights to complain it's free so we should be thankful that we are not paying for it
