Guys if it's true it can be Hugeeee !!! :

It's about a custom firmware to mine other algorithms :

Looks like a scam, tried to search for other info about that "group" and nope, nothing

last night I switched pools in D3 miner, saved configuration, then third chain didn't start to mine at all, it showed around 62 O, after 5 minutes O changed to X. This happens for the first time. Restart didn't help, so I shut it down for night and bring it to the apartment.   Next day I unplugged all cables (from PSU and hashing boards), refitted them again, start miner and third chain is back!

Don't know what happened, maybe it was too cold for antminer, I kept it at the attic and there is only 3 celsius degree at night.

What do you think about coldness - could it harm antminer ? I think if you leave it alone without interrupting it should be fine.

I'm on stock firmware (last one) and I  was just about to try Blissz  upgrade
I have my D3 miners in the cellar, and 2 weeks ago, it became very cold in my mining room, the temperature was somewhere between 2-3 deg C.  I was shocked to find out that none of my D3 miners could start! they were just dead! I thought right away that it might be the cold, so I took one of the D3s to another warm room (24C.), and after 10 minutes, it started without a problem!  As I didn't want to dismantle the other miners, I just took the one that worked and pointed its hot exhaust air to the intake fans of the other miners using a flexible air ducting hose to warm them up (1 min. was enough for each miner to heat it up). After that, they all started without a problem!
My miner is getting direct air from outside which is -9c and running strong atm but if the pool goes down they dont like to restart very well.

The next version will have the reboot on low hashrate working properly, so hopefully that will solve the problems for some of you that have the loosing chain issue.

Hey Blissz, if your custom firmware is based on Bitmain's latest firmware, that means your firmware had already supported of extranonce.subscribe (by adding #xnsub stratum+tcp URL parameter), correct?

These boards are very finiky. Each day (i have to shut down at night) I spend and hour setting them up. Zero consistancy.

With this firmware ...does anyone tried to use a different PSU ?? Less than 1600 w?
Could I use a 1200 or 1k ?
im using a 1000watt for mine

At the lowest voltage setting at ~15 / 16GH/s/s you can run it at 750watt - 800watt. So my advice would be to have at least a 900+ watt power supply for this.
Make sure not to connect al boards as you're still on the stock firmware, otherwise you'll blow the PSU. First flash it / set it to the lowest voltage / 400Mhz and then connect all the boards.

Mines pulling 1000watt @17.5gh/s psu was handling 1290 when i first started but I underclocked to 481 and almost 0 errors for the first 24hours

i use oryginal bitmain fw now.

when i set 400 M system dont se chain 1
when i set 350 m system se chain 54 chips but not mining
Quote
AntMiner
Chain#   ASIC#   Frequency   GH/S(RT)   HW   Temp(PCB)   Temp(Chip)   ASIC status
1   54   350   0.00   0   0   0   xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxx
2   60   350   4434.28   0   23   33   oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooo
3   60   350   4281.28   0   22   31   oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooo

This is then a hardware problem. I am afraid you have to RMA the first board. My advice to keep mining on the two other boards (the latest custom firmware can run with 2 chains connected)

There is no reason to send it back to china is expensive to send and collect + time ti waitng.. So what one chain go rubish ? or there is posible to fix it ? .. i change place chain and show the same

Nov 27 18:38:23 (none) local0.notice cgminer[375]: software_set_address_chain: chain 2 has 60 ASIC, and addrInterval is 1

So i thing yes chain is broken .... Where i can diagniostick one chain or fix ?

Have you tried to unplug the other 2 chains and see if the one that isnt working boot in?

I unplug 2 chain and left only one. system dosnt start ...

So i thing yes chain is broken .... Where i can diagniostick one chain or fix ?

Have you tried to unplug the other 2 chains and see if the one that isnt working boot in?

when i unplug other 2 and restart system show fail and dosnt start i thing i must start with 3 i will try now
