bitmain rocks! They fixed my order from unpaid/expired to paid. I'm really impressed with them.
I think that bitmain should make an "S1.2" with 200gh/200watt
he's just worried about his AM shares... i see a lot of anxious bagholders on asicminer's "horizon" thread... 
Everyone always have nice things to say about asicminer but I can't find their thread, could you link me to it?
Asicminer hardware is almost always overpriced so much that a miner can never make ROI unless you resell the hardware and rip someone else off, so I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for amazing things from asicminer...
Kinda disappointed,not the "breakthrough" miner I had hoped....oh well,gotta wait for ASICminer's new chip I guess

28nm vs 55nm means nothing. All that matters is "up-front cost", "date of delivery", and "power draw". S2 wins against every other product on the market.
Not to beat a dead horse or be confrontational, but what is so revolutionary about the S2 technology wise? The enermax powersupplies? The ugly silver case? Please point out where they're pushing the edge. The Lightning, Dragon, JT, etc are in the same space (1TH/s), are pricey at over $4k-5k each, but at least they're using 28nm A1s(stolen or not).
I'm just trying to see to value proposition with regards to the (same old)tech they're using.

Like everyone else, I'm hoping Bitmain comes up with the more info on the 1K watt PSU versus the 1k watt draw from the wall. Some OC info would be nice. I am curious about this..
A final picture of the S2 on the site would be nice - with dimensions. I don't really care if it's a shiny looking tin foil box or if its butt 'fuglee' looking...as long as it does its job and works as advertised!
Hopefully, this is a very 'short' pre-order situation.
Also, I wouldn't complain about the price too much. Heck, I too, wish it was lower.

Can I use all my discount coupons on the new S2 product or is it only for the S1?
I guess I'll have to choose the sloppy seconds with the Batch 2. Fine by me!

The manufacturer is a BitFountain...products like Block Erupter...USB or Blade...They have been last year something like what is BitMain now...producing and selling from stock...Hope this helps...

I ordered an S1 and got the expired order issue. Sent them e-mail about it, so just wait till they get it sorted. Those S2s at 4U are huge! Congrats on the folks that got one.
4U case is not huge, its about the size of most desktops.A 4U rack mount case is 7" tall. The width is either 19" or 23", depending on the rack.
The case shown at the bitmain website is not a 4U case.

I have had 2 previous orders at 1.45BTC which were changed to status paid. That was over 2 weeks ago however.

That has been the normal process for at least 2 weeks that I know of.
Only solution is patience which is hard when you don't even get an email confirming your paid order.
Expect the next activity to take place Monday or Tuesday when your order shows Valid.
Then shipping a day or 3 later.

On monday I will probably have to cancel some of the orders paid by bank but I need to give 2 days to be sure they are unpaid.
