Just wondering if either one of you or anybody else that did get not get the compensation received the request from Bitmain for a wallet address to send it to a few weeks back?

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered 4 BB Boards and 4 IO Boards. I would feel more comfortable with spares near by to reduce down time in the event of unforeseen events.

Funny how they payout the compensation right after price crashes.
No conspiracy theory here. I have to hand it to Bitmain for making good on their promise to compensate us on Batch 1 for being late.
Edit: Besides when I ordered the price of BTC was $242 a coin so really it is worth a lot more by being paid late.

I got mine too.
They made good on their promise, even if the amount of the compensation is underwhelming.
I bet they had to write new code to deliver the compensation. That's probably partly why it took so long. Hard to prioritize coding resources for the goal of losing money. Of course the justification would be improved PR with the community.
The lesson for Bitmain is to make good on their published deadlines rather than dealing with costly compensation efforts. If they had just shipped batch 1 before the holiday, none of this would have happened.

Will be interesting to see what happens they had it on fixed BTC as it seemed to be rising and was better then fixed USD. I really would not be surprised if we see a switch back to fixed USD if it drops much more.
Or I could be wrong and they sell at lower price hoping for more sales.

They do honor warranty but it takes a while before they ship you a hash board back.
