There are factors to consider as there are different takes and views from each individuals who involved themselves into gambling, I agree that only few who can completely quit away and never to return most of those who experience gambling will somehow find ways to play back, though by experience they'll be able to manage and control both emotions and finances to lessen the chance of getting hooked deeply or become addicted.

There's no need for you to quit up gambling if there's no problem about gambling addiction or something that not affects your finances literally. The only time that you do need to be considerate is into the time or moment that you do find yourself having those excessive engagement when on the moment that you had spend up so much time and able to forget on what are your priorities.
On the moment that you are already on such situation then this is the best time to quit up midway and never turn back, because on the time that you do have this kind of situation
and you had just that simply neglected it out then you will really be ending up on having that miserable or messy life if you dont have such control or you wont really be that careful.

Yes, that means a gambler will only feel more interested in gambling when they get a big win and not a big loss if the loss really makes them realize that they have the wrong approach to gambling to improve their approach to gambling or maybe even stop completely.

Honestly, I'm not too sure about what you said in the first paragraph about a gambler who uses his winnings for the benefit of his family, because usually gamblers tend to spend their winnings again to gamble again at a later time and usually many of them end up losing the money again in the same place.

What's unfortunate is that some people can't have that much control. You are lucky if you were once a gambling addict and managed to get out of it without letting it cause much damage to your life because most people can't do that, once they get addicted, they ruin everything including their careers, personal lives, family, and everything else. They go jobless, broke, and most probably homeless as well if they never owned a home or have sold it due to the addiction so that they could use the money for gambling and recover their losses which is stupid but some people go for it.

You should be thankful to god and try to stay away from gambling, if you still get engaged in gambling, try to be as moderate as possible so that you don't get into that vicious circle again. Many people ignore the fact that they have a family to take care of once they get into gambling and it is very sad.

Whenever I come across those people that thinks and take gambling as a means of getting quick rich's, I always wonder who sold that kind of ideology to them and if any of those that have such mentality have been able to truly make some good money through gambling before, the main aim and purpose for gambling is for entertainment and for that we shouldn't mistakes gambling for any other things because gambling is not designed to be a money making scheme and taking gambling to be a money making machine will only lead to frustration and disappointment on the long run since such results can never be achievable through gambling.
