When your income no longer makes ends meet your life needs, when you are no longer able to control yourself, and when you believe something that is gambling is not positive for you then you will find the right reasons in understanding why you should stop gambling, because gambling It is not everyone to match him, not everyone is lucky in gambling, so some of the right and wise reasons need to be there as a driver in you to stop in gambling.

I don't really blame those who gamble just to make profit because it is ignorance that makes one to feel gambling can be as a medium to generate money. For one to be able to gamble normal without being so addicted to gambling, it is either the person has good source of income whereby their is no need to depend in gambling for profit or their is a clear understanding of gambling of what it is. It is so sad that some people rush into gambling thinking that it is what they go into for profit and come out from it easily. People who become addicted to gambling never thought it will be that way for them, they only become victim because of lack of understanding.

People who become addicted to gambling never thought it will be that way for them, they only become victim because of lack of understanding.

I walked into a gambling outlet this morning to check if there were nice odds I could possibly pick for the weekend, and I saw a guy there gambling on instant virtual soccer games, the more this guy played, the more he lost which resulted to me asking him why he still persists and continue to play after so many failed attempts and he replied saying he’s lost so much already and he can’t stop until he has at least win back half of what he lost, he even proceeded by saying he was there yesterday and the same still happened and he’s can today to see if he’ll be lucky to win back what he’s lost. And this explains what we always talk about here, it was obvious he’s gambling only for the financial benefits of the game which resulted to chasing losses and rather than actually recovering, he still lose even more.

That’s why it’s important to have the right mindset and approach when gambling because you’ll be able to minimize the risk of losses as well as one’s chances of getting addicted. Gamblers who often approach gambling with the sole purpose of making profits will always get their emotions hooked up and end up making impulsive decisions that’ll end it losses. I know this statement has already been made here countless times and even those who are involved in the very act also see it but still end up repeating it over and over again and it just baffles me.

If the fellow had the intention of gambling for fun alone, there was no way he could’ve allowed himself to get to the point of losing that required or pushed him into chasing his losses. It was obvious that his pursuit for profits and his greed both contributed to him repeatedly losing and losing continuously which has landed him into lose chasing which of course rather than recovery still landed him into more losses. It’s just really unfortunate that how gamblers approach gambling with such a flawed approach and mentality, and find it even harder to quit even when they’ve repeatedly lost badly.

I think that every person who has bad experiences and owes them to the game will avoid playing 100%, this is for their own good and it is something that is non-negotiable , I personally understand those players who ban themselves from the casinos as a way of protecting themselves and that has given a lot to talk about, but it is a heroic act because not everyone does it , some give themselves over to the addiction again and that's it, those who do it really Love themselves and that is Something that should be considered as an act of worthy example that it is Possible.

Even I think that I can quit gambling for good if I win a huge amount but $100k is not something very big.
I would want at least $5 million win to quit gambling and I know this amount can vary from person to person and for me this is what it it is.

That will be a wrong mindset if he still persists from his losses because he can losses more than he can imagine. Once that is happens, maybe he will not be able to hold on himself and will do something that can makes him bad.
He should realize that he just waste his money without have a big chance to win from gambling so it is better if he quit gambling and walk away from the casino to calm down himself. It doesn't give him benefit if he stays for a long time in casino just hoping to win from gambling.

Honestly speaking, $100,000 is a large amount for me to retire from gambling. Somehow maybe I will be able to start a good life. That's reason enough to quit gambling.
Now if it's for another reason, like something that's already destroying your family or yourself, that's enough of a reason to quit.

Hi ladies and gents of the forum's gambling discussion board, coming through with this question born out of an argument I just had with a good friend of mine a few minutes ago.

So, I was sitting side to side wit a good friend of mine this evening while having a chat about making money, we talked about several ways we can make a lot of money in the most possible short time, in the midst of the options we both came of up, I brought up the option of gambling, suggesting it to him as one of the most easiest and fastest way to also make money if and when one is lucky, he agreed it's a good option but complained about the possibilities of betting addicted, and as a result, losing back all the money after winning it, then I told him that if I won like $100,000 from gambling, I did quit gambling forever, he laughed and screamed impossible, he said that the more money one makes from gambling, the more they get hooked, we argued about this until we both decided it was time to go home and rest.

But then on betting home, I thought within myself if I can actually quit gambling for ever if I won a $100,000 like I said, and I concluded I can, if not for anything, atleast, for the fear of losing back all of that money to the casino.

So, here putting out the same question, what will make you quit gambling forever? A win or a loss, or both?

Sad to say that's it's true even those who alrerady suffer on that kind of situation sometimes still experienced the same mistake, though they manage to survive and continue playing but there's time that they unable to work on it and still lose huge amount, but in the other side those who take that mistake seriously and unable to cope with the amount that they've loss they use it as fuel to quit away and not to continue playing or betting.

It's different approaches and takes but whatever might be the decisions it's a sole responsibilities of every individual wehn they choose to quit.

So the main thing in gambling is the type of attitude towards gambling, one's personal attitude and main motive. Those who gamble only to make money always fall into addiction. Therefore, every gambler should see gambling only as a form of entertainment and always gamble with the right guidelines, good attitude and self-control, create a certain limit, gamble only with the money that you are ready to lose. Otherwise, it will put you in a dangerous cycle where you will lose everything.
