Yes you should do it as soon as possible, it's mandatory.

"NEW ARDOR VERSION 2.2.2
This is a stable and mandatory release. January 15, 2019"

I'm on Linux and have to wait for the repos to update. Are the UI improvements mentioned in the changelog significant?

Well the User Interface looks pretty nice, cant see much differences, good solid looking tho.

Recently, Ardor has carried out a hard fork of its public blockchain. ARDR and its child chain Ignis were moved to a new block. The platform was upgraded to the new version featuring a new child-chain and functions.

Frankly that took me by surprise. Should we upgrade Ardor  client? Just tried to connect to ardorpool.tezzigator.com to whom I have leased my ARDR for forging but it doesn't work. Is that  because of fork?

Hi, I'm forging fine since few days. I forged for few months last year same period but did not lease ardors at that time.

Following this nice tuto article https://medium.com/ardor/blockchain-ardor-part-5-forging-and-leasing-58645bcee1d7

At this step about leasing : Click “Lease your balance to another account.” A pop up appears.

-"Enter the address you would like to lease your balance to"

Is LZLZ address up to date, thank you for your help.

Hi Everyone, i have installed Ardor v2.2.1 after seen this tweet : https://twitter.com/ArdorPlatform/status/1081433871957266433?s=19
I get this msg : "Not possible to launch the JVM" as soon as I start the wallet.
I have no idea what could it be. I had the oldest version of the wallet, just installed the new one over it. Thank for your help.

Smiley I changed the directory folder name of the previous wallet, reinstalled the client and now downloading the latest blockchain, all fine!

Some help info there => https://ardorforum.org/ardor-software-releases/ardor-v2-2-1/

Yes, it was my post over there but I forgot about BitcoinTalk...I'm happy it worked for you.  Grin

Super thanks K5Canada!
Your post helped me a lot and it did not take too long to sort it out.
I posted the same question on Ardor Slack and replied to it with your very helpfull post.

Last night, I tried to install 2.2.1 on my computer. Now, I'm unable to start my wallet and keep receiving the following message: "Can't run the JVM". I was fully synchronized with the network before attempting the update (my wallet was with the previous version). I run the full wallet, not the light one on Windows 10, 64 bits. I'm unable to uninstall the wallet since the uninstaller keep telling me that I cannot run the JVM...

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

I had the same problem! Is there anyone here who can help us? I used to use a light client, now I tried to install a full (Windows 7, 64 bits).

Thanks in advance for your informative answers!

What about the future of ARDOR? I suffer a huge loss on the investment of ARDOR.  Sad

I believe that all those who bought during the price boom (I don't know if it is your case), especially the price of the BTC, had big losses. I don't think that your loss is related to the project.

The development is constant, the community is active. It's a great platform and I believe that will have a great future.

Headless Solar Powered Ardor Blockchain Node with e-ink information screen

I never used Raspberry Pi, its unavailable here and Im dunno why I would ever bother myself with something like a node setting routine. But that post is quite elaborate, all the instructions are there, hope somebody someday will make a good use out of it. Though I should say u got a rich event timeline here. Too much in one place, Xendbit, Dominium, what the hell is that?
