Hi guys, I did my homework. In the ARDOR wallet I found my ARDR plus my IGNIS. In the NXT wallet I have my NXT and the same amount of ARDR I had at the snapshot time.
According to the airdrop rules everything is ok. Why I still have half of the ARDR in the NXT wallet? Should I move them in the ARDOR wallet? How can I do that?

Thanks in advance!

It's not that you have half of the ARDR in the Nxt account. The ARDR in the Nxt account is the amount you had at the time of the snapshot, last December 28. That snapshot rewarded you with the same amount of ARDR main net tokens as ARDR assets you had in your Nxt account.

The ARDR assets in Nxt blockchain are now frozen after the snapshot. They cannot be traded, just stay there as a mirror of the Ardor genesis block. All the ARDR value you have has now moved to the Ardor blockchain.

ARDR asset on Nxt blockhain is frozen for forever, you cannot trade them nor send.

I have just been robbed of 113500 ARDR.   That's it.  I'm wiped out.  I'm done with Crypto.  I will never again waste time on this bullshit.  Enjoy your millions assholes.

The address that stole the coins from me is ARDOR-HKCS-V6N8-FH7T-A3SLF

I was invested in NXT and ARDOR from the beginning because I believed in this coin.  Now it's over.  Never again.

I know who stole the coins.  It is Minergate.  They installed a virus on my computer and no antivirus software was able to remove it.

Crypto is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.  I will pay ZERO going forward.  Hope you are happy.

How did you access your Ardor tokens?

All of them are on my NXT account or better say on the NXT asset exchange. Is there a transition process?

Or did you just use your NXT account seed to log in in the corresponding Ardor account? I guess if they both share the same code base the same seed should create the same addresses on both platforms, right?

You need to install the new ARDR wallet, the old ARDR asset is no longer valid within the NXT wallet. This is part of the snapshot that occurred December 28th.

Thanks, I already installed the new Ardor wallet. Do I need to login to Ardor wallet with the same seed as I did on my Nxt wallet to access the Ardor tokens? It confuses me a little bit. That is why I ask if both softwares creating the same address with the same seed.

I never really understood the forging thing. Ill have to do some reading.
Love the project, but are there any particular resources to check out about forging and such?

Simply said, forging means that you participate in securing the network providing some CPU power/RAM from your device. Transaction fees will be shared among forgers that can solve a block.

Thank you for this, thats all I needed. Im going to dig around for a node then =)

Use the same address to login and your paraphrase is the same. The NXT prefix needs to be replaced by ARDOR, that's all.

How is your answer related to my question Huh Actually, forging is much easier to understand than mining in my opinion.

I tried to open Ardor several times today and each time I was not able to access my account via light client and the message showed up "Cannot connect to /nxt-proxy No openAPI peers found". Are there really no openAPI peers available or do I need to set up something?

The light client does not work well, just install the full node. It will take less than 30 seconds to synch the network.

I enabled forging in my ARDR wallet. I don't plan to make money with this but want to contribute to secure the network while I'm working on my computer.
Does it make sense and will it work if I use my computer 2 hours/everyday?
It is secure to keep the server up and running all the time?

Thank you.

I would advise you to lease your forging power to forging pool. Thus you will avoid the risk of hacking, contribute to network stability and spare your electricity bill.

I bought Ardor coins on Poloniex some time ago. The transfer option is still disabled from Poloniex to other address. Does anyone know when you can do withdraw?

I don't understand Bittrex position on this. They can easily do this as well, open up the markets for trading and just leave the wallet offline for now.

HitBTC nice ardor pump, would be nice to sell huh? too bad for us who use 'trex, we may miss this opportunity to sell in a bull market..

At Hitbtc ARDR hit 305K

Hopefully soon we get the network stable. I think we are going to see prices rise very fast. Still mind blowing how low this is compared to some of the coins that shot up the last few days.

Maybe regulation doesn't allow them to open trading for coins without stable and working network. But Ardor already has a stable and working network, so they should open trading now.

i have real problem.days ago i mentiond that i have some ardor on hitbtc and i afraid that after moving ardor to mainnet,i lose them.now,30 minutes ago i my ardor balance on hitbtc turned to zero like i never had some.i made a support email to them and i waiting.i hope that this problem solve,if not i lose huge amount of money.

UPDATE: IT'S SOLVED.THANKS GOD

ignis airdrop was just for NXT holders and ardors just moved to it's official blockchain from NXT blockchain.

But, what does this mean, are they still valid? Can I sell them after bittrex makes them available?
