Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?

Airdrop is the easiest way to earn tokens than bounties because it’s less to do but once you apply there is a possibility that you will received and will not receive anything. I think I applied 100+ application form and only received 15. In airdrops, there is a promising and more are not and said to be that they are only shitcoins and I agree, because every time I checked it on the exchanger the price will be 0.000000001 something like that, and then I realized that the coins from bounty are more promising. I recommend not to stick working from airdrops only, it is good if you are working in more bounties while looking for many airdrops.

yes, some airdrop benefit me, because we are without work but can get money from airdrop. I once earned about $ 750 from airdrop. but for now it's a lot of airdrop that only cheats because there is no value.

You can earn in some airdrops but the real question is how much you can get from it. Because many airdrops are just shitcoins and doesn't have much value. You just need to be lucky to find a good airdrop where you can profit from.

Airdrops are a boring and inefficient use of your time, usually. That is, unless you really believe in the coin and they have a solid project. Many of these coins mismanage these airdrops or don't make clear instructions, hoping that you will join the group and then not execute as per their requirements so they do not have to give you coins.

I've learnt that airdropped coins can actually be very profitable. For example, there were Airdrops for different types of Ethereum like Cash, Dark, Black and so on. Those coins grew in value!

Good one, all depends the market value of coin on  exchange value. And as long it has value is more profitable, it also shows the good job of the team bumping the coin in market.

Airdrops can be profitable and a worthless. Depending on how hard the team is working behind the scenes. There are many who just give away free coins to people and then when it gets listed on exchanges, people immediately dump their coins and bring down the value. After this due to development and marketing team not being effective enough the coins never recovers from the hit which in sometime results in failure of the project/coin.

Best example I can give is DeepOnion. This is the best airdrop that's around at this time and the team/community/developers are amazing. They are doing everything to make sure this is a success. We need a team like that to succeed. People should focus more on quality than quantity.

Thanks and have a nice day.

I have participated in around 200 airdrops in the last 4 months....
I have received probably 100 different tokens

I missed many through not reading the requirements properly and not following their media channels missing swaps and news.

I have sold some early for hundreds that would have been worth thousands of $ if I held eg ACC
I have received thousands from airdrops 3-4 times

and have many worth $10 - $30 that can only be traded on ETHERDELTA where the fees can be awful

So is it worth it... if you are new and not wanting to use real money then YES!

But it's a lot of work getting coins from an airdrop you are basically being paid to promote their coins and often are enticed to be an early investor

good luck ... Nothing comes for free

Airdrop coins are very suitable for beginners, so that they can feel what is fast and do nothing to get a crypto currency. I also participated in many at the very beginning. But I abandoned it for a long time, since there is no profit from them, but only you lose time and money, paying the commission.

I just tried to join one airdrop. I did everything but they don't pay, anything at all. Not even penny. Basically airdrops are something unworthy now you should be very lucky to make money over em.

I'd say most airdrops are not profitable, if generally not even worth the time. The coins you get are generally super low anyway so. Can just make some money by working and buy some cheap altcoins here and there instead.

Airdrop is good , it will make the coin or token spread faster. Airdrop is good for us because we only need to do simple thing to get free coin. I think there is no problem with it. But people will like to sell the coin immediately after they get it.

I take part in the airdrops and forget about them. I want to remember in 6-12 months and sell. I think that this is a long-term work and that's how it should be treated.

Of course, most of airdrops are NOT profitable. But for some of them, they are. Now we have one project Sirius, I believe it's profitble.

Maybe profitable. For example, we received 4000 REBLs in airdrop and now they are 600-1000$ on Bit-Z. Just a big gift for New Yeah. They are crerating blockchain and ww're waiting for raising REBL's price

Airdrops can be very profitable. As an example, I can result in the EXRNchain token (EXRN) airdrop. In October, 7 thousand of Ethereum wallet holders
were listed for 10 million EXRN, which at that time equaled 1 Ethereum or about 300 dollars. Currently, this amount is about $ 1000.
A week ago 10 million EXRN cost 1,800 USD.

i would say that most of the airdrops are scams and do not have any worth.. But actually , that doesn't mean all the airdrops are not worthy. I was able to take  a few that pumped really hard... It seems like the hype is over for ERC20 tokens.. but whenever you met an airdrop never leave it. Apply all the ones you meet and try to grab some free tokens because there are some good projects

mostly in good airdrop , there will be a restriction on the number of participants, so still need to be in time to participate and for this it is necessary to spend a lot of time or be very successful
