Maybe there are times where people are losing interest in bitcoin due to the big dump of it from entering the year 2018. People are lacking interest of this and become a downtrend because of the dump of its price and other cryptocurrency coins as well as altcoins and ripple. Maybe there would be a chance that people will go back again and they will become interested to bitcoin if it pumps up very high, for those who are beginners in this field they maybe out of their minds because they don't know what to do this time because they are lack of knowledge about crypto and bitcoin, but I assure that when bitcoin starts to rocket again then it would be the center of interesting of the people and maybe it will be center also of the trend in the social media platforms.

this is not losing interest, they just wait for bitcoin price rise. if you compare in 2017 and the years before, it doesnt mean people interest in just 2017, and its not only interest, but they move to gain massive profit in that time. now, they are wait for the right time to gain big profit like last year.
Agree since as the market fluctuates its value, the interest are also not stable.
One might lost his interest now but its not gonna be permanent because once a bullish market will come, they will also start to invest again.

Bitcoin now for those who like to play the FOMO are just seasonal to them, they will stay away for a while and will just come back once bull run starts.
Because they will come back once the market showing a bullish condition, in short, they just wanted only to get profit and jump in into the highest price and I didn't know how could they get profit. Are people losing interest in Bitcoin? I don't think so because there are still many people who believe in bitcoin and still keeps on investing. Maybe those who lost their interest in bitcoin are those people who are just new in this cryptocurrency world and didn't understand yet how cryptocurrency to make a profit.

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

After bitcoin dump least 2017 many people and investor not interested with bitcoin, they have disappointed with bitcoin can dump to lower price, how come bitcoin have reached more than $16k and now back lower half or bitcoin price under $9k. When bitcoin back to higher price with 2017 maybe many investor back to bitcoin investment and try to move their investment to bitcoin.

Every day the interest over bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies was increasing. The increase in the interest can be seen with the increase of market places accepting bitcoin. More countries also begun to regulate the usage of bitcoin. Years back these countries were completely against the usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
With this fact it is proven that there are indeed many people who are interested and there is a push for each country to make regulations for cryptocurrency. Every country's attention is now beginning to see that Crypto. Blockchain is a future industry that will grow and several countries have already taken that step. this decision is not wrong because indeed people have begun to understand crypto now

Maybe so, when people participate in the world of cryptocurrencies, those who participate in 2017 2018 will be very excited because of this period of high bitcoin growth, but then when Bitcoin was $ 3k, they lost their confidence. A lot of people have left this market, 2019 airdrops or bounty scams are too many, many projects are difficult to develop because of the cheater problem, many people do not want to go back. But I believe blockchain technology will develop because Better things will always replace the old one, and the day will come, and everyone will know cryptocurrency

All right, after a year of market collapse, most investors have lost confidence in it and even negative. But the blockchain industry is only at its very beginning of development. The https://neironix.io/cryptocurrency/bitcoinon, there i follow the industry, and the dynamics of prices, they say there that most likely the growth will begin already in 2020.

You are right after dump crypto market many investors lost Their believe in bitcoin and left. But there is no reason with airdrop or bounty. It’s free money and you are not investing your money. You can say that bounty hunter lost their hope in bounty or airdrop, not investors. You can see last 2months chart you will see that investors buying bitcoin. Buying 52% and selling 48%.in 2018 buy order percent was lower than sell order. So now again investors is interested in bitcoin.

To answer Your question let's see who is actually interested in bitcoins.Investors, institutional investors, hedge funds, miners, traders!(Yes there are many more, but let this list be as a constant).Based on today's trend, we can conclude that none of this list has lost interest in bitcoins. Therefore to do conclusions on the basis of activity on the forum makes no sense.Interest in bitcoin has always been and it is only increasing.

in my opinion, one's interest in bitcoin is a natural thing. and going up or down about the number of people who are interested is common. it was proven when I was in 2017 then got a big surprise from price pump, because I could buy a house quickly. they ask, where your funds come from. I say in 1 week I can buy a house with Bitcoin. they immediately asked how it was. 2 people, 3-4-5-10, even 1 village (I live in the village) asked about Bitcoin. but after 2018, there were no surprises from bitcoin. enthusiastic people don't care. and choose silence rather than asking about bitcoin.
why are people not interested in bitcoin anymore? because this year Bitcoin isn't fantastic. Most investors last year were leaving Bitcoin.

People is indeed losing interest to bitcoin because of it's price. People stopped talking about bitcoin when the price tooks so long to move and pump, that is the main reason I think why people lose interest about bitcoin. The hype on price is already gone and that is the main ingredient for bitcoins popularity back in 2016-2017 days.
Agree, The folks who lost interest are average retail investors who like to buy at the dip of a bear market like the last one we passed, then sell out for big profits at top of a bull run. one of my friends bought in during the hype 2017. I thought he believed in the technology but he sold it all in capitulation. once the next bull run starts, they will be climbing over each to buy in, just like 2017. they stop talking until they start hearing of gains on the next bull run, then buy in high, get scared at the first time of a correction, sell low and run off. I think a lot of serious investors are loading the boat for the next launch. with institutions like Fidelity opening a crypto trading platform and companies like Facebook getting into Crypto at next year, it's just the beginning.
I trust with anonymous prediction where bitcoin can raise to higher price, I don't care with losing interested with bitcoin by many investor now. I believe can take profit with bitcoin investing for the future, bitcoin will get back their interested from investor when bitcoin come back with price above $20k, next year become fantastic price for bitcoin and altcoin moment to get much profit.

I guess this is the result of the current bear market we are in. People that are only interested in BTC for the profit are losing interest because we haven't 10Xed in the past month, they came here for profit, lost their patience and are now leaving. In the background however things have never been more positive, there is great news coming from every place in cryptocurrency and adoption is increasing, but that isn't something people notice, which is why they lose interest. If/when we return to a bullish market it will look like people are interested again and the space is alive again, but in reality it has never been dead.
It is difficult to think that people easily get exhausted and distracted when Bitcoin unexpectedly turning down. I know people are expecting a more exponential price for Bitcoin but it was a big opposite coming around making them really disappointed and losing confidence. Thus, it only means that people are just considering crypto for profit gaining source and purely investment than rather than to consider as a currency in the future.

Bitcoin will popular when price above $15k, many investor talking with bitcoin and altcoin investing. They will make bitcoin interested by many investor if have higher price, less talking forum when bitcoin still down. there are not available for community want to discuss with blockchain and bitcoin ac currency payment if bitcoin price still not growing up, don't worry with lost interested with bitcoin just wait when bitcoin up.

I said to a tech person that Bitcoin was back at 10K levels since months and he didn't believe me until he checked the price online. I guess it's just us watching daily the news and indicators, while trying to figure out the movement of BTC price. I am in for the profits as well, I don't deny this, but still there is something in Bitcoin more than this, that made me stay and research.
The interest will be back once we promote Bitcoin in a correct way, talking about the tech and the positives it can provide for the world. Promoting it as a store of value and as means of exchange helps. Still on every pump action that happens, the wrong people take over and promote it as a way to get rich quick. This is not what we should be doing at all.

I think it’s true though that people are losing interest with Bitcoin especially after the $20000 peak way back 2017. I was one of those people since the market became so unstable and so as the months that precedes which the price crashes so low compare to the ATH. But you know, people would soon be interested again like me. The market is a little bit stable now compared before.
Interest in bitcoin has never faded, it can only increase and increase over time but with the success of bitcoin in the past, compared to the moment right now, people are really confused because of a significant decline in bitcoin, the question is whether this could be the bottom of bitcoin or not, only if this question is answered and bitcoin proves the end of the decline, people's determination to bitcoin will return, they will no longer worry. No one is not interested in profit, especially bitcoin is a place that generates too much profit
