It is just like that meme. " If you cannot love me at $3k then you don't serve me at $100k" People only want to know about something when the going is good.

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

I guess you are correct, people are losing interest right now. But this seems regular and normal. Time to time, people will hype and buy bitcoin and lose money. This is normal, they will trade and lose some money because they think that they will get rich with bitcoin.
Im personally agree with you. many people are attracted to bitcoin and invest when bitcoin prices are high and when bitcoin prices fall, new investors are starting to lose their trust in bitcoin. whereas in my opinion this kind of attraction is a mistake. precisely in my opinion when the price of bitcoin is low is the right time to start investing with bitcoin so you can get profits when bitcoin returns high. and I think this kind of wrong understanding must be what new investors need to correct

People who only appreciate things when they do well do not deserve those things. Did they think bitcoin would just continue to go up and never stop? What about the fiat inflation? Or are people so use to inflation they forget about it?

I say yes.. because the media no longer makes a fuss about Bitcoin.  as long as Bitcoin is not yet Bullish, public interest in Bitcoin will decrease, by looking at search trends on google we can find out about it and the statistics generated by Google are likely to be exactly 85% accurate...  IMO, waits until Bitcoin Bullish again (possibly 2021) is the most appropriate choice we have to make right now.

If it is about search numbers and tweets about Bitcoin, there is a truth that as the Bitcoin rises, these numbers rise too and as it decreases, the numbers go down too. I see it as normal. Apart from that, I don't think that Bitcoin's popularity is decreasing.

Although compare to what I can see right now, many individuals have been coming into the digital world just because of Bitcoin. Personally the reason I joined this industry was because of Bitcoin and the power of the Blockchain technology. Those who are loosing interest are those who never understand the true meaning of freedom and the need for transparency. Even the corporate industry have been integrating their project with Bitcoin

People are losing interest because there is no bull run in the cryptocurrency market. People always want to make money so without an active bull run in the market people would be losing money and that is why people are losing interest. Once the bulls return the people will come back too.

As some experts think about the cryptocurrency market, when there is a pump there will definitely be a dump. The fluctuation of market interest is natural, if the market interest continues to rise it is very good, but it can hardly be done. Someone said that trading and investing in cryptocurrency is a zero sum game, it is impossible to all get the same profit.

yeah, newbie weak hands are leaving bitcoin handing over their small amount of bitcoin to others who understand the true purpose of bitcoin, at a discount just to try and buy it back a couple of months later at a much higher price. Wink

Yes you are right there, newbies will suddenly lose hope when bitcoin price goes down. because they don't know that bitcoin prices are not high, I mean they don't know too much about bitcoin, they just have the idea to make a profit.

But if you are a beginner do not even think about making money, through bitcoin, because it is best to get some knowledge of bitcoin before you earn and to prevent scam.

No, who say this. As value of Bitcoin is increasing, I think this factor is attracting more and more people towards itself day by day. Today, people are more interested in getting knowledge about Bitcoin so that they can buy and invest in Bitcoin.
Let the time comes, see what happens. As we all know technology changes with time.

Increases and decreases, forming hills and valleys, are normal in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies which are very volatile, depending on market demand and supply. The price decline is not solely due to a loss of public interest, but this is an accumulation of many factors that reduce market demand.
However, bitcoin is still very potential and interesting for those who understand it correctly, not just stuck with FOMO hysteria hike in 2017. All need strategy, process, can not be instant, let alone just guessing and following along. Invest, not speculate.

In my own personal opinion, people are not losing interest in bitcoin even bitcoin had decreased it's price since 2018 because a lot of people are still hoping that bitcoin could regain it's price up to $20,000 just like in the year of 2017. Bitcoin is also gaining it's popularity everyday because they always see it in social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and many more that makes more people to have interest to buy bitcoin, so there are less chance for people to lose interest in bitcoin.

i think in the case of Bitcoin a lot of people already like it and how it is implemented in the past year, in the last 4 years we witness the rapidly increasing of the bitcoin in the market and also there are times that the price is also so low in the market with that observation a lot of expert are predicting or speculating what is going to happened in the coming years but still the risk is so high when it comes to investment. The hype would also go down in the coming years if the price of bitcoin will drop and will be popular again if the era of bitcoin comes again in many country.

Yes, in fact people are becoming more curious about cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin, they are more interested on it and other countries are having a meeting and planning how to legalize cryptocurrency. Even those who invested at peak season, for sure they are still holding some Bitcoin as they are confident that the value of Btc will continue to rise as demand is increasing.

Exactly, the crypto is getting more wider day by day and many of the governments are trying to implement it in their current system. In fact, many of the big reputed companies have already started accepting it. In the past few years, bitcoin had drawn a great global attention due to its enormous hype and had attracted many investors to the market, and this number is still increasing day by day. So, I don't think people are losing any interest in it as still the coin is serving a great demand...

I don't think people are losing interest with bitcoin, this way too far to happen. Only people who really know the essence of bitcoin will stick into it and will patronize it despite of the downsides and its breakdowns in the crypto space. Just because people doesn't search about it or want to know more about it, doesn't mean that the masses is losing interest in using it. Just seeing how fast and wide the adaption of bitcoin, be it local or foreign country, big or small scale Businesses, bitcoin is paving its way up and putting up with the level of fiat and has the probability surpass fiat's dominance in the market stock.

It's more like unseasoned player are leaving the field as it's more of a saturation which is happenings as only those who have immense experience and knowledge about bitcoin will stick wherein those who are in for quick gain might make a move but this does not mean people are losing interest. I have different opinion when it comes to fiat dominance as fist dominance will always be there in the market but bitcoin will run in parallel with them as bitcoin cannot replace fiat.

No, when you say people, you are referring to the majority of people who enter in crypto and loss interest afterwards.
I am not seeing that scenario, people or majority of them are still loving crypto, why I said that? what's my basis?

its simple, look at the bitcoin trading volume, its still high with $15 billion .

Comparatively right majorities speak by themselves and that's how the graph stated, there's no point of claiming things which is not accurately deal with the actual situations. If there's people who quit and leave this sphere most of them are those who are not really engaged to this industry, most of them are weak holders who are just here thinking that they can easily grab quick benefits.

I am not agree to compare bitcoin popularity just based on price. Answer of your title is, NO. Really no one losing interest from bitcoin. But newbies are not interested to take entry on bitcoin lately due to fair of loss. The volatility of bitcoin is higher and trend is down. So situation is pretty confusing. That's why newbies are bit worried about buy bitcoin now. It doesn't mean existing holder are losing interest. So many people still holding tight. I think current environment is bit against bitcoin and that's why its downtrend. We have to encourage newbies regarding uses of bitcoin so more people will be interested to it. Just don't explain about quick rich method, bitcoin isn't really a quick rich method.
Bitcoin becomes popular because of its price, people are losing their interest because of its price that drops from what it showed last year.
Most of them are newbies who invested only because of the trend. They have entered the crypto community knowing that investing will give them an instant profit, and that also becomes their reason to quit when bearish market comes.
